This cottage is ideally for a family of four, along with a pet. We stayed at Brazzacott for 5 days and really enjoyed it. The host were very helpful and friendly, they are just shout away. Very nice people. We had a warm welcome and they provided us with essentials items at the cottage. Lucky to have an opportunity to visit their lamb pens as this cottage is situated with in a working farm. Excellent view of the Cornwall country side with the sheep grazing in the fields, horses, ducks etc. Unfortunately no local amenities in this tiny village. However the nearest town in only 8 miles away.||The rooms are tidy and clean, kitchen equipped with everything you need and decent internet connection with well connected TV. Lots of parking available. Overall we enjoyed our stay and definitely coming back. Highly recommend this place.
This was our third trip to Brazzacott Farm Cottages & it really is idyllic. The accommodation is in a converted stable/barn & is toasty warm with all mod cons. The owners are so welcoming & nothing is too much for them.||||The beds are super comfy with crisp white linens.||||The bathroom has a traditional roll top bath & shower. Plentiful fluffy towels & bath robes are provided.||||The upstairs kitchen & lounge are well kitted out & provide spectacular views of the rolling hills.||||We were welcomed with wine, chocolates, fresh bread, eggs, milk & cut flowers.||||The property is within easy reach of many Cornish coastal towns. ||||We had our dogs with us & they also enjoyed the farm & surrounding areas. Our stay was in winter so we were grateful for a warm laundry & boot room to dry off walking gear.
5 stars is not enough to rate the friendliness of the hosts and how nice the place is. The place was very clean, and was already warmed up for our arrival.
The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to cook any type of meal. Every room in the place is very spacious.
The owners let our 3 year old feed the newly born lambs and horses which she absolutely loved.
We will defiantly be coming back here again for another short get-away. It has that home away from home feel.
We stayed here hoping for a romantic getaway for our honeymoon. Getaway it certainly is. The setting is gorgeous in the lush Cornwall countryside and the cottage is lovely. Very pretty, spacious inside and well decorated. The hosts could not have been nicer. We were welcomed by a bottle of bubbly and a nice box of choccies on our bed. There was also fresh bread, eggs and fruit. Kitchen was also well equipped.||Expect to be sharing your time with some very friendly cats who are cheeky enough to try and get into your cottage, we loved them. Despite the narrow and bumpy roads the cottages are well placed. Only an hour from padstow or bude or the Eden project.||However, the bed was so soft and small we found it not only difficult to sleep on but difficult to find space and it felt like it was going to collapse just sitting on it. We are not big people but it is not for those with back problems. the shower was just a trickle, and only had two temperatures: boiling hot or freezing cold. Despite it being a working farm people respected their guests privacy but it still didn't feel private especially with our neighbours porch light going off all the time. Plus the sofas are too small to snuggle on.||This is a great place for a ramblers base or someone wanting to scope out Cornwall but it didn't feel like a romantic retreat.
Very friendly family living on small farm. ||But unfortunately I did not feel relaxed. ||Some of the furniture really needs to be changed and made a bit more comfortable. Sofa I think has come to the end of its life and few other items!! ||If this was done, it would be really lovely cottage. ||I totally understand it can be difficult keeping things clean. ||Good luck for the future.
We stayed in the Stables. Beautiful cottage set in 140 acres of farm land. Very spacious and well equipped. On arrival we received a very warm welcome and found waiting for us inside fresh flowers, freshly baked loaf, bottle of wine, chocolates, milk and 6 fresh farm eggs. The cottage is a barn conversion that is very well presented, lovely and warm. I can highly recommend Brazzacott cottages
We've just returned from a week staying in The Stable over half term. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival, with wine, fruit and fresh eggs waiting for us - a lovely touch. The owners are very friendly, and it's an ideal choice if you have children that are old enough to explore alone. Our girls are 8 and had a fantastic time playing in the farm. It's very safe but take their wellies! ||My only word of caution is that it is a working farm, and you are very much in the middle of things. It was ideal for us, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a romantic or secluded getaway.
A wonderful place to stay. Lovely and rural but central for the north and south coast. Although we had a lot of rain, on our return to the cottage it was always warm. Hosts were very helpfull. Nice touch on arrival, flowers, eggs, bread and wine.
