Excellent tea room! Great sandwiches, lovely pot of tea, and the cakes... wow, it's worth returning just for those!
It was a struggle to order a vegetarian ploughman's sandwich - pickles are vegetarian as far as I'm aware! The bread was slightly dry on the other sandwiches ordered sadly. The biggest shock was to be charged extra for mayonnaise to accompany the small side salads. The staff in the cafe were condescending when this was queried. Apparently they've always done this- well apart from the 6-7 times we've visited before. To do this in front of others in the cafe was wrong. Simply we won't return to be treated in this manner.
Bosuns is such a lovely dog friendly cafe, I've been several times and the service and food is always such fantastic quality. The staff are so friendly and lovely, the pups are always excited to see them! I love coming here every time
Such a lovely place! Staff are all lovely and friendly. Food and cakes are delicious! The pups love coming along because they always get a puppachino!
This is such a cute little cafe, with baked treats made by staff members, gifts and trinkets available to buy, and ice cream! What more could you want?? Ahh, yes, for it to be dog friendly....well it is.
I've only ever had takeaways, sadly. But the sandwiches, coffee and cakes have always been delicious, fresh and great quality. Most definitely try their sausage rolls- yum yum yum. Staff are friendly, helpful, and patient.

Wonderful little independent coffee shop, lovely cakes and other treats made fresh on the premises. Tasty lunch options. Always bustling and full of life. Gift shop of local handmade items. Absolutely worth a visit, I just wish they opened on Sundays!!
Great place, lovely food and nice staff but just to say the winter closing hours are 3pm not 4pm as it says when you Google it
