Disagree with Andy, this is a great pub and always spotlessly clean! Yes dogs are allowed in but you would not find a cleaner premises. The landlady is always making improvements and has extremely high standards in cleaning. It is a great atmosphere and had many a great night here. I would suggest if this is the best of a bad bunch the Mablethorpe is not for him.......
Hi may I reply to you sorry you feel this way but but every year we get a 5 star rating and I can assure you that my staff are constantly cleaning glasses every day my pub gets painted every year toilets cleaned every hour on the hour yes it is a dog friendly pub but all pubs in mablethorpe . As I say sorry you feel this way but 5 star rating every year tells a different story
Good place to have a drink compared to the other pubs close by, but the smell of dogs puts me off. You can smell wet dog on the glasses. Very off putting but besides that it's the best out of a bad bunch.
Lovely friendly bar plus great afternoon with the Thursday book club group.

If your camping in mablethorpe you really do have to find this gem of a pub especially on a Thursday from 1pm karaoke. Bingo good beer good atmosphere dog friendly staff are brilliant. If you want a friendly pub we’re everyone talks this is the place. To go cheap beer larger Wendy and the young barman could not do enough for you. Beautiful garden. Never seen one as nice
