Another lovely stay at Boningale Manor this time in Haywain self-catering appartment. Bob & Paul are friendly welcoming hosts, and the accommodation is first class.
There is a comfortable lounge dining & kitchen area well equipped. The best part is the beautiful bedroom with a very comfortable bed with lovely quality bed linen. Of course, there is a separate shower room.
The area is beautifully quiet it's hard to believe it's so close to Wolverhampton where we visit our family. It's a peaceful haven to return to.
Thank you!
Bob was very helpful and supportive - offering accomodation for me and my border collie at short notice when there was an urgent neccessity for me to be close to Albrighton and Compton Hospice. The Roundhouse was quirky and homely at the same time. Lovely and clean and offering all the amenities one would hope for. Additionally the dog loved it and had the opportunity of walking in fields right outside the front door.|Would recommend
Comfortable accommodation with access to 8 acres of land. Very well equipped and good size TV. And a friendly host. Good location with a pub within walking distance. Views to the Wrekin from property. The Roundhouse is Dog friendly. We will return.
Really nice property. Handy for work and a lovely large space to cook/relax if required. Didn’t get to use the local pub but it’s in walking distance. Fridge and microwave available as well. Shame I have work commitments so couldn’t enjoy the area. But my brief interaction with the owners was pleasant. Really quiet too which helped with my early starts.
Very nice self-catering apartment. Quirky, but with all mod cons. Didn't eat out, but there looked to be a number of nice country pubs in the area. Definitely be returning. Dog friendly.
Lovely place, cosy, very clean. Everything you need for self catering. Coop just 5 minuets away, Pub with meals only yards away.
|I would like this to be a great review but sadly we were a bit disappointed with the lack of basic pantry items, such as tea, coffee, glad wrap, oil, plastic bowls, large frying pan etc for cooking. Although they did supply sugar, salt and pepper? (although the salt and pepper shakers didn’t work)|Laundry detergent, toilet paper and fresh towels/ t-towels was sparse but they left a lot of cleaning supplies for us to use in cupboards and on the bathroom floor. |Having come from Australia, it would have been nice to have those basic items that you would think would be provided in an Air BnB to make it more of a home away from home for our 2 week stay.|The lack of privacy was also a bit annoying as the host was out the front of our patio during early mornings and evening attending to their garden, and we couldn’t open the curtains due to our windows facing straight out into the garden. Also leaving tools and equipment in our pathway to trip over was quite hazardous.|You could hear the permanent residents upstairs during our first week, into our second week they were on holiday so it was a lot quieter.||Otherwise a nice stay, comfortable beds.||Thank you.
We stayed here for a week for our sons wedding. The Round House was very comfy with lots of hot water and underfloor heating. The lounge was a good size and the bedroom very spacious. Bob and Paul are excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble for their guests. Be warned, the roads around are very narrow with no passing places, but that didn’t detract from a very enjoyable stay.
