Amazing tearoom at the bodnant garden centre - scones are so soft and moist! Service is excellent
Very impressive gardens 80 plus acres hard to imagine it belonged to one person.
The whole area has different gardens from the rose terrace to the meadow areas plus lakes, mill house that now has information about the history of the gardens.
Definitely worth a visit it's a busy place the Rhododendrons were impressive.
My only criticism is the price of tea and food £4.70 for a sausage roll £2.70 for tea the cookies were £2.20 seems expensive take a packed lunch
Asked for Vegan options. Selected the Vegan curry. Was asked if I'd like a cheese (cheese is dairy and not Vegan) scone or bread with my curry. A strange option I thought. 'Curry' arrived. No rice. I'd describe it as soup. Bread and BUTTER (again I'm Vegan and had reiterated this at ordering). A disappointing visit. Raised with staff but there was a worrying disinterest to the feedback. As a food establishment knowledge of different diets and allergies is essential. On a plus when I requested a dairy free milk for my tea I was offered soya or oat milk.
We guinea-pigged the new hot dogs at the Pavillion Tearoom. All 4 children said they were a 5 out of 5! These jumbo hotdogs are a foot long! They must have tasted good because the children ate a whole one each (aged 3, 5, 6 & 9).
The suede soup was also delicious.
The service was incredibly quick and the staff were lovely. Cannot fault this place.
Very good fresh hot coffee and nice meal. Had Welsh rarebit. So cheesy and tasty crispy and I added bacon. Not five star cos not much selection on the food menu. Staff very nice and funny. Was great.????????????☕
Brilliant place for long walks through amazing gardens , dog friendly but don't forget your poop bags and bottled water for your hairy friend, your dog not your partner.
Great staff working well under, considerable pressure at times, from some surprisingly entitled wannabe middle classes, good food and lots of well spaced seating,
Nice food and drink here, good service, had some barley and tomato risotto, and a pleasant drink of cider.
