Brilliant hot and cold sandwich shop only 5 minutes walk from Carlisle Station. Freshly made HUGE baguettes about £4. Hopefully next time we'll have time for hot sandwiches.
The lovely staff at Black Jug organised catering for my wedding at just a couple of weeks notice with absolutely no stress and at an excellent price. The food was incredible, abundant, and they were able to cater to all the dietary needs and allergies of our guests. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They also do a smashing cup of coffee if you're ever passing! Thank you all so much.
Black Jug catered for my friends' wedding at short notice. The range and quality of food delivered was amazing, and there was so much of it! The food labelling, especially for allergies and dietary needs, was exemplary. They catered for every requirement. I would recommend them highly to anyone who is looking for outside catering.

Black Jug provided our party of 34 with a fabulous buffet - sandwiches, quiches, salads, sausages...basically with everything that we asked for! It made for a wonderfully successful party & everybody loved the food. Perfect!!
