Bought a used Audi from Alex at a good price. It has low mileage and runs like a dream. It turned out that the aftermarket infotainment system was fubarred and without hesitation he replaced it free of charge with a full touchscreen solution with all the bells and whistles. This is why I like to shop local. Would def recommend.
its ok . Ive bought , what, 5 or 6 cars from Alex over the last 16 years or so. All have been very good. Ive just collected my latest a week ago and its again good. He fixed several of the windows, as he promised, it had a long MOT and had a good valet. The Aircon works well as does the super stereo! Yes he can be a bit tricky to get hold of, but he does phone back, REMEMBER he's on his own and is really quite busy! The cars ive bought have been VERY keenly priced and he, on occasion has done a very good part ex deal. He works on VERY tight margins, and his prices are below what other garages charge so be reasonable, if you expect top drawer car that needs nothing, go walk and pay a grand more! . If you're fair, and expect that a cheap car may have the odd issue accept that's why he's cheaper!!! I will be back again!

Truly excellent service. Alex is very helpful as are his staff.
They all work very hard and are very obliging. I have purchased a car from here which developed a fault and the service regarding this was outstanding.
Easy to contact. Alex is very busy and if anyone has to wait for a response then they are not patient enough. If he was constantly answering the phone within seconds then he would not be providing the service that he does.
I have my other vehicle repaired here when needed and will go nowhere else.

My daughter went there to sell her car and they gave her a price. She called the next day to confirm the price. The following day she went to deliver the car and the guy there said he couldn't pay the offered price and tried to come down. When she mentioned that he had confirmed the price, he started shouting at her saying he didn't have to buy the car, he hadn't given a deposit. She eventually had to accept a lower offer. Not a nice man
Avoid this garage at all cost. Bought a campervan from here and this is the worst experience of buying a motor vehicle I have ever had. The van was not ready when it should have been and was apparently ready two weeks later. I picked up the van and a day later it was back for a list of over 20 faults. The van has been back now 6 times and is still not working as it should. Alex does not do refunds and simply lies about jobs done. The jobs he does do the workmanship is just awful and often leads to other problems. I now am in the process of dealing with another garage that is correting all his bodged work. How this place is in business I will never know.

Alex appears extremely helpful when selling you a vehicle, but as far as the warranty goes beware, he does a lot of the work himself ( even tho he's not a mechanic), which is shoddy at best, lies about jobs being done when there not and requires a lot of time and chasing up. Just took 17 days to do a rear wiper motor, washer pump, radiator, front crossmember and head gasket on the bongo i bought. Most decent mechanics could have done these jobs in under 20 hours. Head gasket only blew as he hadn't fitted the radiator correctly in the first place. Upon collecting the vehicle washer pump and rear wiper motor still not working and don't know if the head had cracked or was just the gasket. Asked for his mechanics phone number to find out, think i was given a fake number as never turned on.
Probably the most stressful transaction i have ever been involved in, and would not recommend to my worst enemy!
Update: Tracked down the mechanic, He confirmed that i had been given a fake phone number and that only the radiator and crossmember had been done, said the head gasket hadn't been touched and knew nothing about it. He also said that he had advised Alex that it needed the proper factory crossmember, Alex said he'd take of another bongo but that was as bad as the first so he got the mechanic to weld a piece of square 1x1 steel across the bottom.
AVOID AT ALL COST.

I've never been made to feel less welcome. Stopped to look at a van that had a price in the window of nearly double the book value. Suggested it was strong money, but was immediately told to look elsewhere. No way to treat a cash buyer that didn't even get offered the opportunity to look properly. AVOID this place!

I purchased this vehicle, with a three month warranty, under the condition that agreed repairs were made and the MOT be completed.
The car was then ready for me, weeks after the agreed date, MOT done and repairs supposedly carried out.
Within a couple of days the engine management light comes on, revealing a busted catalytic convertor and faulty lambda sensor. So under warranty, I tried to get in contact with the number provided, but no answer after numerous attempts.
So we visited the branch during opening hours, to find him nowhere to be seen. I continued to attempt to contact him, until I eventually got through. He then agreed to take the car off me and look into it.
It was a long and arduous process that took well over a month to sort out, having to visit the garage he uses for repairs to try and expedite the process myself.
The mechanic me he knew the dealer to be knowingly fraudulent and heavily in debt, deliberately flogging dodgy vehicles.
The car broke down again a couple of months later, suspected fuel injector failure and also an airbag system fault. At this point I gave up and just scrapped the vehicle.
Also on another point, I later found someone I knew to have purchased a car from the same place. Only to find that the car did not have any MOT, even though it was advertised to have 12 months on it!
Again, avoid this wa***** lIke the plague.
