What a great chippy. Everything is made fresh. The chips have a nice crisp texture with a fluffy inside. The fish is done to perfection. And to top it off the mushy peas are super. What a gem to have on our doorstep.
Brilliant little fish and chip shop and restaurant. Friendly staff and great service.

As the wife had gone away for a couple of days I decided that I would have Friday tea at Bentham chippy, dined in and enjoyed the service I received along with my fish, chips and mushy peas, it went down a treat and I am very picky about fish and chips. Will definitely be dining there again.
Oh dear. We'd planned fish and chips for the journey home. My daughter requested pie and chips, which was missing from the order when we parked up at a viewpoint 10 minutes later. Staff were nice, but I cannot recommend when they get the very basics wrong.
Very nicely cooked fish and the chips may well be the best I've had from a chippy. Shame they were out of both gravy AND curry, otherwise 5 stars. However, because the fish and chips were so nice, the gravy wasn't so necessary.
Excellent quality. Fish freshly cooked to order but quick too. Curry sauce is the most authentically curry-like sauce I've ever had from a chippy.
Brilliant place. I have had a few bad experiences going to chip shops and being served late when I had ordered long before time. This is typical in lancaster and even worse in Morecambe. So I was most pleased when I came across this shop as I was checking out the area where ill be working next year. Incredible service really friendly guys and the best fish and chips I've had in my life. I travel there every week from lancaster just for this fish and chips and would highly recommend. Price is very low and they give loads of tartar sauce.

Chip shops are a personal choice. We like the chips and curry sauce and a lot of people like the fish. I've heard people say they prefer other chippies in the area, but we've never been let down.
A big plus is that they serve the food in PAPER boxes so you can eat them in your car at big rock and know you're not destroying the environment (always take your rubbish home to recycle)
