I don’t normally eat fish and chips as the quality varies so much. But on finding the Chinese takeaway shut visited this establishment in Benhall and was most impressed. I asked for a sample chip which I was given and as this tasted okay I ordered a large cod and small chips which I took back to my nearby Travelodge. I was completely blown away by the huge portion of fish which was incredible tasty in a nice not too overpowering batter. I ate every morsel. I will definitely visit this plaice ????next time I’m in Cheltenham.
Food was fine but we only ordered 3 things and one of them was missing on delivery.
Absolutely disgusting fish was inedible tough could not eat the fish and a lot of bits of just tough batter.Will never order again.
Burger and chips for £3.90! I’ve already eaten a handful before taking the picture. Lovely friendly staff, this place serves great value, delicious food with a smile. The steady stream of customers shows this is a chip shop worth a visit!
I drove to benhall expecting a "cone" of chips as I can't find anywhere that sells "cones" of chips so on the menu says cone of chips I drove all the way there to end up a tray of chips was disappointed ????
Really good food, always busy. But with the delivery industry taking over, that is where they make money. You have to wait for your food unless you order it over the phone, because the delivery riders take preference. Still a great shop but, not the wait of up to 25 minutes for fish and chips

The fish and chips are generally very good but sometimes the chips are not very hot. It's a shame that the small portion of chips is too large at £2.60. A smaller portion would be better but half way between a cone and small. There is plenty of choice for everyone even battered Mars bars.
