A great addition to Heywood.
Halal, family friendly diner with great food.
Their grilled chicken was on point and huge.
Their burgers were scrumptious and if you have space don't forget to try their desserts. The biscoff milkshake was so creamy and thicc.
Absolutely outstanding! Basement Diner is a true gem. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cozy yet elegant ambiance. The menu is a masterpiece, offering a variety of exquisite dishes bursting with fresh flavors. The attentive staff made this an unforgettable dining experience. Can't wait to return!
Just had the 4oz cheeseburger and half a chicken in peri peri.
The cheeseburger was really tasty and the peri peri chicken was cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and decor were really nice aswell.
Would highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back again.
Upon arrival I thought that the setup, design & decor was stunning, very well thought out and made good use of the space.
Secondly, the service was second to none, big smiles and excellent customer service. Took our order then seated us at a booth.
Thirdly, the food was AMAZING. I ordered the chicken wings, 1/4 Chicken & chips & school cake. The chicken wings and 1/4 chicken was full of flavour, juicy and tender. I have 0 complaints on the food as it was bursting with flavour. The desert took me on a trip down memory lane, which is always good.
Overall, top lads, delicious food & amazing atmosphere. I highly highly recommend to food lovers in and around heywood or even further, well worth the travel ( I came from Ramsbottom on a recommendation from a friend).
Would rate 10/10 if I could.

Visted yesterday evening for a bit of food for a friend's birthday. There was us (table of 8) and two other tables taken in the place.
Waited over an hour for the food. I asked specifically for extra spicy boneless chicken thighs. After about 40 minutes the lad serving came over and said they weren't available as they ran out. Fair enough. I had two pieces of chicken instead. And asked for a spicy chicken burger.
Food finally arrived after an hour. The burger was absolutely soggy as hell. Fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The chicken was cooked "okay" but wasn't spicy in the slightest.
As for everybody else's meals. Completely raw beef burgers. Cold chips. Microwave rice. The lad serving did rectify this. But still....
Slow service, atrocious food, overpriced, outright terrible!

Really nice food, great service and a really nice setting!! Stunning new place in Heywood. Good selection of grilled chicken, burgers, loaded fries a load of sides and ‘There’s always room for Dessert!!’
Ordered food and asked for it to be ready at a specific time to take away. Ordered a fair amount of food, as I wanted to try a bit of everything and couldn’t decide. Establishment was kind enough to gift us some desserts. Food was ready when I got there, still very hot by the time I got home, and it tasted amazing!! Price was more than fair for the portion sizes and taste. So impressed will definitely be back! Chicken wings fell off the bone, thighs were still juicy, burgers were cooked to perfection, and the chicken burger was crispy and succulent. The desserts were amazing, something for everyone, Thank You so much.
