Lovely farm b&b, great location, lovely ensuite room and very comfortable bed. Had a decent sleep, didn't have the breakfast that's included as I had a lay in, so can't comment on that. Only downside was the kettle in the room was rusty even after rinsing it, other than that would stay here again.
Lovely warm en suite room in a converted outhouse on a farm just a few miles from the M6 between Stoke on Trent and Crewe with our dog. The owner didnt mind us arriving late in the evening. We had a great full english breakfast. |Thank you we definitely recommend
Oh dear.. what a shame... positives - breakfast was fabulous, service great, plenty of storage albeit a multitude of different furntiure. The Not so great...old grey washed out towels, floor was grubby and dusty, toilet seat needs replacing, the pillows smelt horrible, the bed was small for 2 adults and the view from the window was piles of dog poo.
Stayed here for a night and was so impressed I booked for another night. Spacious rooms, beautiful location, warm and friendly people and made to feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing
I hate to write a negative review but I think people should be honest on here. Isn’t the idea to help other fellow travellers? First off, this was a hard place to find and doubt we could have done so if we didn’t have GPS (sat nav) It was a working farm which was fine but to us it seemed that the B&B side of it was simply to supplement their income without a lot of effort. To start, the bed was terrible. It was a double and we kept rolling into each other, making it hard to sleep. I considered getting into the small cot but I didn’t have any covers for it. The next morning, the owner came and took our order for breakfast and after serving it, we never saw her or anyone else again. I had only ordered two poached eggs and would have liked more toast brought or more tea but it’s wasn’t to be so I left hungry. My husband had the full English and he enjoyed it. This place was out in the country without a place nearby for dinner so we had to drive a ways which meant that my husband couldn’t have a drink with his meal. Not the end of the world but on holiday, he likes to. We wouldn’t recommend this place sad to say. Of the eleven places we stayed at on our holiday, this was the worst.
Absolute little gem of a place.|A beautiful old farm complex in a lovely country setting but only a 5 minute drive to the main shops.|Lots of pubs nearby.|Friendly owners and lovely country feel.|Room was immaculate.|Wonderful full breakfast offered.|I’d stay here again in a heart beat.|Highly recommended.
One of the nicest places that we have stayed at.|Lovely hostess.|Great breakfast that will more than keep you going for a fair few hours.|Great views.|Very large room with extremely comfortable bed.|Situated on a very quiet country lane.
We enjoyed our short stay here. It was a room with beds and a bathroom, exactly what we needed and paid for. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Friendly staff
