Tried a couple of pies sold from their van at a farm shop nearby. We had been told by the farm shop owner the pie man was on his way soon, and that we had to get some because they are the best pies. Can now confirm - they are the best pies, we had one each and it was a struggle to get through them as they were so big. Really delicious combinations of flavours, and appreciate they aren't all just the normal bog standard flavours, they've incorporated some twists. Highly recommended, will be returning for more pies!
Tried the award winning big jim pie bought outside the windy arbour farm shop. Really tender and amazingly delicious beef shin, contrasting very well with the occasional crunch of the crushed pistachio. The crust was not overly thick or doughy as well, an issue I usually find with most other pies.
Highly recommended and can't wait to try out the other creative recipes on their weekly menu!
First time trying pies today,after visiting windy arbour. Absolutely fabulous... That boy can cook! The pie was so tasty... And the gravy was a wow. Got 2 big Jim pies... Highly recommend and I will definitely buy buying more. ????
Best thing I've put in my mouth in a few years. Ive been to Whitby and had their 'famous' pies. Baldy's are next level. We got told Galway's were the best by a local ???? which genuinely is an absolute joke. If you want the best pie you've ever eaten go to Baldy's. Believe the hype and awards. The Halloween special needs to stay on the menu!!! ????

If you fancy a pie but not any old pie, something a little extra then you have come to the right place, these are just off the scale when it comes to flavour and creativity. The choice of pies change on a weekly basis and every week a masterpiece of only what i can describe as a mouth watering culinary excellence can be on your plate to savour and wanting next week to come around soon
Got the chicken and mustard pie last night. Baring in mind im not a fan of mustard and an extremely fussy eater. it was absolutely delicious. Honestly the best pie ive ever eaten.
was full of chicken also. Gravy to die for and the potatoes on the side also amazing.
11/10. Will definitely be ordering more. You have to try????????
Had yet another pie today from the pie magician himself! Today’s masterpiece was a buttermilk chicken lasagne pie, also got a garlic sausage and chive melt but saving that for tomorrow.
Two very clean plates after and very satisfied stomachs., the fillings are just amazing, quality, quantity and full of flavour.
I may share the other tomorrow but then I may not!
One thing I don’t think gets complimented enough is what a genuine, friendly and all round top fella Alex is. Always has a good chat with each customer and is genuinely appreciative of his customers!
