Traditional home bakery that hasn't changed in decades. Fresh loaves of bread, cakes, pies, pastries and so much more. I always treat myself to a Devonshire Split when I go in.
Recently started to buy from this wonderful bakery. Everything I have bought is delicious. I can highly recommend the pork and black pudding pies. Lovely staff. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful products all round never had anything bad from here the smell that comes from the shop is outstanding, it's just bad for parking with it been in cottingham
Absolute wonderfull place would totally recomend everything seemed fresh and it was such a good price staff were really lovely and very polite. Better then the cooplands down the road this is now going to be my go to local bakery.

Unfortunately I haven't had the same experience as other reviewers.
Ne and my mother drove by and saw the lights on and door open, with all the food out so we came in. There was nothing to even suggest it was closed, even the sign was outside the arcade entrance with an hour so we went in (about 8.40).
We decided what we wanted and called out for help with no response, gradually getting louder. We were able to hear them and, having worked in a similar environment, were ignored. I gave then the benefit of the doubt and rang them but the phone was also ignored. As we were about to leave (8.55) a woman came out and said were closed what do you want.
She was a bit abrasive but everyone can be occasionally and she told us she would serve us in a minute. We both apologised and explained the door open no sign with opening hours light on pastries out etc. She kept on and my mother continued apologising as she rang our order up and we left.
The bread was lovely as was the lemon tart, but unfortunately the chicken pie and bramble pie were under baked and had raw pastry inside when cut into.
Overall the customer service wasnt great and some of the food underbaked so whilst I've given a star for both the bread and lemon tart, I cant rate it higher.
Hopefully it was just and off or stressful day but we unfortunately wont be returning.
Call here today after a visit to the dentist and got a curd tart, not had one for years and I must say it was delicious made my dentist visit well worth it. Well done 10/10.
Been here few times now not just bread go and have a look recon you will spend few quid good bakery
What a delight like a bakers use to be like great selection and taste like years ago lovely assistant ñice for someone to smile for a change,
