The Korean milk donut was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! Coming from someone who doesn’t like milk cake or donuts! This unique dessert was a game changer! Highly recommended! The Matilda cake was worth all the hype it gets. Friendly staff 10/10
The Matilda cake lived up to its name! The cake, doughnuts and chai was just amazing and really worth it. The customer service was wonderful , really kind worker who looked after me. Will definitely be coming again!
Waited half an hour for a costco style cake with sauce. Cake is not freshly baked its bought and it was dry. Only thing that tasted good was the sauce. Feel ripped off paying £18 for 3 slices.
Bit of a let down as I had high hopes. On the plus side the owners were nice people.
Tried some other matilda/bruce cakes so in comparison this is not close.
*Read BEFORE BUYING* Disrespectfully The Matilda cake did not live up to its hype and £12 for 3 slices is just extortionate, the cake tasted burnt and lacked flavour. The service was absolutely horrendous I had waited there for over 30 minutes before getting my order, there were people getting their orders before me which they came after me and placed their order after me but still got served before me.
The owner/worker said the cake was made fresh from home was it heck the cake is a ready made and frozen cake from “madina delights”. All these guys do is warm the cake and drizzle melted chocolate on-top, Anyone could do that. Disgusted.
As a baker It’s nice to buy cakes for once and not have to make them! This is baker approved, i tried the Matilda cake after many recs to get it from this place in particular. The service was the highlight for me. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Loved the cake!
Absolutely loved the Matilda Cake, it tasted freshly made and the chocolate sauce complimented the cake really well! The Korean Donuts were my favourite, the cream was fluffy and sweet just the perfect treat for a dessert.
Dutch pancakes were small and amazing. Reasonably price and quick little dessert.
Horrible experience! The mini pancakes were sour in taste. The Matilda cake was very average. And gulab jamun donut was horrible. And it cost us £18! What a rip off! I don’t get the hype around this place. We were left spitting saliva for minutes afterwards! Better to avoid this place!
