I have to say I recommend this garage 100%. I have had cars serviced here since Gary and Pauline took the business on and they have always taken the trouble to do a good job. My policy is to keep old cars on the road as long as is economic- Gary understands this and doesn't upsell when it's MOT or service time. If they say something needs fixing it does. You might not always get same day attention because they have so many happy customers but they will do their best for you. Wonderful people who have become good friends.
Absolutely fantastic service!! Was travelling down to East Sussex with 3 hours left to drive when our exhaust pipe connector gave in. Bailie Cross Garage seen us instantly without prior booking and replaced the part! Thank you to the team for being so helpful and efficient!!
After a nightmare Thursday afternoon breakdown, Garry Drew came to our rescue. Needing a clutch replacement for our motorhome, everything was taken care of, recovery, parts ordered, even booking a bed for the night.
The service was unbelievable, getting us on our way, before the weekend was truly fantastic.

My tire came off on the side of the road, I walked my alloy down to the garage and a really lovely helpful young guy sorted me out. He popped the tire back on and inflated it, and didn't charge me a single penny. The middle of nowhere, but seem to do really good work.
I was recommended to take my van here for an MOT and so glad I did! Really good garage, great staff and super helpful with any questions I had regarding my van. Only had a few advisories, nothing major and was thoroughly checked over. Can't fault these guys! After terrible weather I found myself completely stranded and alone 2 hours away from anyone I knew. Panicing, I called Bailie Cross Garage and someone came running to my rescue. As I had gotten a bit or water in the engine, the mechanic also followed me up the road to make sure my car was safe. Thank you so so so much for your help. Bailie Cross were amazing - a life-saver. I'd broken down halfway to Devon from Sussex around midnight and had to spend the night in the car with my wife, 2 kids and a dog, in the middle of nowhere, not knowing whether the car was fixable or whether I was going to be able to get to Devon or back to Sussex. I called the nearest garage, Bailie Cross, at 07:50 and they were able to book us in straight away. The AA towed us there and the garage got straight on to the specialist that was needed (for helicoil), contacted the car sales place I'd recently bought the car from and made sure they were going to cough up the bill (as they were clearly responsible), and got us back on the road to Devon as soon as possible. We picked up the car at 2pm, fully working, with no bill to pay. Best of all was that, after such a stressful breakdown, it was a massive relief to be treated with such amazing customer service, knowledge and efficiency.
