Had a fantastic meal courtesy of Babu!
Prices are what to expect in Newquay. Interior is new and funky and very good looking aesthetic.
Amazing portion size, lovely ingredients, flavour, and very friendly and helpful staff.
Booking was easy, some people who have a problem with this maybe shouldn't expect the world in peak season with half the country down in Cornwall.
Definitely would go again, and, as you can see. I have more than 1 or 2 reviews.
Not one to miss out on!
You need to pre-book around lunch time and collect between 5 and 8pm. But this is just a fast food? Well, portions are huge but actually not that tasty. I had lamb which was pulled, dry and cold. Overpowered by other stuff inside. Lamb was actually quite bad???? Aubergine in bowl was good but everything else was just meh. Too expensive - despite huge portions, reputable London's kebabs are much cheaper and the whole idea of pre-book of fast food seems just not right.

What a splendid pop up establishment. Worth hunting this one out, the food was seriously good and staff were really kind. I’d revisit at the drop of a hat, thanks BABU!
The food was very high quality and left my mouth watering for more. Lots of flavours and textures, enjoyable and excellent service. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu ????
I have eaten many kebabs in my lifetime but hand on heart this was the most tastiest chicken shish kebab I have ever tasted. The potato nuggets were a delicious side and complemented the dish. Would definitely recommend.
Had the works basically with the family. Everything was delicious, so glad you can do takeaway of the bites. Thankyou Babu!!

Yes its a few quid more than the kebab shops in town , but its worth the money all day ! Kebabs are Bigger better and there fresh !

We’ve wanted to try this place for a while after seeing their posts on Instagram so we drove to Newquay from Redruth specially just for dinner at Babu. They did not disappoint!! The food is AMAZING - we both had chicken Shish salads and they were so fresh and the individual flavours so unique. The salad box’s are deceiving as the serving size was more than enough and cooked perfectly - each part had its own authentically seasoned taste and they complemented each other beautifully. Ordering was easy and the menu uncomplicated - I can’t rate this place highly enough and we’ll definitely go back for more, thanks Babu! X
