Absolutely fantasic service from Kay and Chloe, had a difficult buy due to seller and estate agents but these 2 bent over backwards to get me my house ASAP! Excellent communication throughout made buying the house very simple, everything was explained to me correctly as a first time buyer and such a friendly service nothing but helping me throughout! Would highly recommend and use again for my next property :)
A really great law firm. We have used Aventus many times for conveyancing, and also for some contract matters. I found John and the whole team to be friendly and in good communication. In particular I'd like to thank Kay Ali for her persistent work on our proeprty files- will be sending more and would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for conveyancing or other legal matters.
Fantastic service, I highly recommend! My solicitor was Noreen Hussain who was impeccable and understood my every need. She anticipated everything I would need to know and kept me updated without me having to ask. She even put up with all my constant phone calls and stress! Aventus Law made my sale incredibly smooth and easy and I will definitely use them again in the future.
They were very proactive in help me complete my property purcahse within the specified time. They responded to all queries and guided me in all the needed steps I was due to take. I will recommend them any day. Keep up the good works.

I have only had dealings with a senior partner of this firm: Mr John Gibson. This review relates to my interactions with him alone, I have no knowledge of how this firm otherwise operates.
In my view it is a matter of public concern that such an individual freely operates in the occupations of mediator and solicitor and, such are my concerns, that I have reported him to the Civil Mediation Council and the Solicitors Regulation Authority. It is my earnest hope that these regulatory bodies fully and properly investigate my experience and take the appropriate actions.
My concerns to the named bodies allege professional negligence and what I consider to be a most shameless and calculating dishonesty.
As above, I have no knowledge of how this firm operates when dissociated from Mr Gibson: the other partners and staff may well be perfectly honourable and competent. Given this possibility, and again in my personal opinion, anyone professionally associated with the gentleman in question might do well to critically reflect on their position and perhaps consider distancing themselves at the earliest opportunity.
I sold my flat with Aventus Law, they made it a really pleasant experience. Always responded so quickly and they were extremely helpful and professional and very trustworthy. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you very much Aventus!
Unprofessional, unresponsive, avoid at all costs. John Gibson the managing partner is the most insensitive, unprofessional person I have come across with no manners or respect when talking to someone. Will always try to be sweet to gain the business but that is a façade which you should look past. Many breaches going on in this firm, SRA and ombudsman are looking into it, and the skill level is next to none it's all a 'let's do this and hope for this' with no professionalism in terms of punctuality or a plan for a case. Lots of excuses always. If there's one thing you do to help yourself in life, look for another firm to give your business to as it will be a case changing decision for yourself..
Very poor service. Used Aventus for a house purchase. At the time they advised us the house was situated on a private road and we had to pay and indemnity of 200 pounds. We were ill advised and it has transpired the house was not on a private road. Despite many calls and many emails Aventus cannot provide us with a simple answer to the questions as to why we were ill advised. This matter has been dragging on for several months and now I will take legal action.
