Fabulous deli and general stores, with an expansive gin & whiskey selection. Great staff, and well stocked. Definitely worth stepping off the main road.
Just popped in for a few things and did not have a great look round but seemed to be an effort here to stock a lot of fresh produce, a lot of essentials and a lot of artisan products that you may not expect to find in a store this remote. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
We have been holidaying in Aultbea for 7 years and Michelle is totally amazing. Her store offers the best fresh and conveince produce and all her staff are so helpful. Ask Michelle on advice from anything to do with gin, whisky and seafood and her knowledge is emenz ????

Excellent store - well stocked with basics and much more than basics to almost deli standard. Prices are fair . Best selection of wine gin whisky etc . Very clean and the owner was helpful and very welcoming.
Some other Highland stores could take a leaf out of this shop’s book and up their game!
Stopped by this shop as car had broken down. Genuinely could not believe the selection of High quality goods. The owner was such a delight - took great pride in the goods they stocked and very knowledgeable. I was quite shocked at how low the prices were too - no artisan prices here. I would definitely recommend stopping by here while on the NC 500. If only to gather some special ingredients for a wonderful meal! I wanted to grab some of the black pudding, but sadly I had no cool box!
Fabulous shop fully stocked with essentials and lots of treats and local deli products. We traveled a long way to get here after thinking there was another shop along our route (there is NO shop at Dundonnell!!). It was worth the trip though, friendly staff and an amazing gin/whisky collection to boot. So good we went back twice!
