Amazing food and the best chip shop in the area by far.
We come from Glasgow to eat at Antons Fast Food. The freshest fish and chips with large portions. 2 pieces of haddock with fresh chips at a reasonable price.
The Lasagne and Macaroni pasta are delicious and a must try.
Great staff and a very experienced helpful owner.
Would not believe the bad reviews on this and recommend you go and experience Antons Fast Food for yourself for yourself.
Keep up the great work everyone at Antons Fast Food and Ali we will be back.
Reading some of the reviews below...i have no idea what people are on about.....unless its was before the guy that's there now. We mainly get fish and chips from here and they are ALWAYS amazing! Great taste, fresh and the gentlemen that works there is so friendly. I 100% recommend...! 10/10!
Just ordered 2 DEEP PAN pizzas, after it took me a while to explain what a deep pan oven baked pizza was to the girl at the end if the phone, I told her if you can't do deep pan I don't want them. She assured me after asking the guy who makes them that the pizzas could be made deep pan.......what did I get.....2 wafer thin base pizzas with toppings that slides right off it, horrible, worst pizzas I ever seen & tasted!!!!
Stay away from antons, if you were just honest & told me you couldn't manage a deep pan pizza then I would have ordered a burger but instead, half my pizza is in the bin, yuk!
The chips and haggis is alright not sure about the chips cheese and curry sauce...so giving 4 stars for the Haggis supper but the cheese and curry sauce doesn't smell too good so one star.
Got food from antons tonight chips were great. But the chicken was off I foned them to complain and they sent out 2 10inch pizzas. whilst on the fone I asked if they wanted me to send the chicken back with the delivery driver and was told no it was ok but when the driver came to the door he told me the man from the shop had foned him on his way to me and asked to get the chicken back but by this time I had already put it in the outside bin I foned up while driver was there to explain and he asked me or the delivery driver to go and fish it out from the bin I refused as the bin would be dirty and even the driver refused aswell. So then I got nothing But mouthful of cheek from the guy on the fone so I just sent the pizzas back with the delivery guy.
I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY I AM RAGING AND WILL BE PUTTING IN A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS MAN AND THE SHOP RIDICULOUS CUSTOMET SERVICE
Love the food here, especially the Black Pudding Suppers.... Non greasy, great portion, fresh... no reheats. Staff are lovely and friendly too. Thank you!
If you like allsorts of batter in your chips then your onto a winner or if you want a completely different thing sent to you than what you ordered you'll love it ... wouldn't spend another penny in the place
Left the place last night during to no social distancing.4 members of staff no face masks on despite guide lines from goverment.I think at least 6 customers in the shop with no face masks once again against goverment guide lines.Any place that doesn't comply should be shut down.No wonder viruses are spreading when people think they can do what they want.The only safety precaution was a bottle of hand wash on the counter nothing else.
