Food is consistently hot. Lots of tasty variety. Healthy options with good desert kickers. The sushi holds it's own. The staff is friendly and careful. One TV plays toddler/kids cartoons, so it adds some comfort to a rambunctious kiddos meal.
I was in Springfield for the day and wanted to have Chinese food for dinner. I found several options online, but I ultimately chose the Asian King Buffet. They had a nice selection on the buffet, and I enjoyed everything I tried except for the Mongolian beef, which was tough and difficult to chew. The service was excellent, as my server kept my drink refilled and cleared used plates from the table. The atmosphere was pleasant enough, with patrons enjoying their meals while they engaged in lively conversation. However, the condition of the dining area was not good. It was quite a contrast from the pristine exterior of the restaurant. While the exterior looked well-maintained, the interior was the exact opposite. The carpets and tile floors were filthy, and the walls and décor looked as if they hadn’t been maintained in decades. Overall, even though the food and service were pretty good, I don’t think I would return.
Got to the place. We’ve been there before. Skinny dude at the front was zoned out staring into space . When he saw us he rolled his eyes. Asked for a booth. Skinny dude looked me up and down and said, “Booth is too small. Tiny. You won’t fit.” He gave us a booth anyway and guess what..? I fit. My family wanted to eat here so we did. After today, I will never come here again.
GREAT FOOD AND GREAT STAFF!!! I always drive by this buffet and see the parking lot packed with people no matter what time if day it is. I had heard people say bad things about the cleanliness and quality of the buffet restaurant, so I never tried it for myself. I went in with low expectations, but they really blew me away. The food quantity and quality was perfect! People complain about there not being enough crab legs, but be grateful that you can even get any true crab legs at a buffet for this price. Plus the fact that they can keep crab stock during shortages across the nation says something! The restaurant was clean, the tables were clean, the bathrooms were clean, there service was great, and the food was plentiful. I don't know what else you could ask for from a buffet. A side note to the courteousness of the staff, there was a customer, who because of physical conditions, had a hard time getting his food and one of the workers went out of her way to personally help him get his food and seat him with it. Always good food and great staff!
The food here is flavorful, and they keep the buffet fresh. They are very careful about keeping things at the appropriate temperature, whether hot or iced down - I was pleasantly surprised by this my first few visits. There are so many choices, including sushi (pretty basic, but the wasabi is amazing) and Mongolian grill! The cashew chicken may not satisfy your "Springfield-style cashew chicken" yen, but there are a wide variety of other dishes. Some of their options are standard Chinese buffet fare, but there are several original combinations you're bound to love.

This place was amazing! Their food was very good, the staff were all very nice, there were a lot of families there, service was quick. Everything about this place was good.
Took a chance on this place and was very glad we did. Reasonably priced and the food was well over average. Would love to come back here. A+
I heard about this place & got a bit xcited 2 go .. it was awful im afraid .. the food that is .. the service was fine tho .. the lo mein noodles were actually spaghetti .. the cashew chicken had no taste .. the shrimp sauce was homemade & nasty .. the chocolate dessert tasted like the cocoa was years old .. the only thing my wife & i liked was the crab rangoon .. then i got the real surprise .. it cost $58 .. ill just stay home from now on.
