Rang for labour costs on parts that needed fitting. They told me they don't give prices over the phone. I asked if there was a reason for this. The reply is "we just dont" and hang up the phone. Maybe I caught them on a bad day!

The r a c advised me that to get my car checked out as I had a coolant leak, so I booked it in with ashburnham road garage and they told me it was the oil cooler that was the problem, so I booked the car in for a service and to have the oil cooler done,.That was in February and 2 months later i still have the same problem with the car, so i took it to another garage and within a minute of looking at the car the mechanic told me It was the coolant bottle was split and the other garage should have checked that first,.when i went back 3 months later after getting the car fixed, they fobbed me off trying to say that they only found out that the coolant bottle was a known problem in Vauxhall cars a couple of weeks ago. It goes to say that i won't be taking my car to this garage again after paying over £300 for a repair on the car that more than likely didn't need doing, should have checked the car out properly and they might have found out that the coolant bottle was cracked and leaking.
Owner is very polite. Booked me asap for MOT and could pick up car in day or so. Made minor repairs that needed for the car for a good price. Paid what was quoted and not a penny more.
