Hidden jewel off Blackheath’s main strip. Feels bigger than it actually is— they’ve maximised on seating space without it feeling cluttered or busy. Quite a nice, bright atmosphere, even on a grey day, so likely even more appealing in high summer.
The food is really delicious! The empanada is amazing and the Spanish tortilla is incredible, as well as the garlic bread. Everything has allergy labels and they have great vegan and gluten free options. The food is so tasty and the service is impeccable. Also great for children, as there are two big sand pits outside. Extremely recommended!
We recently held a private event at the Arts Kitchen and it was WONDERFUL! The owners are amazing, so helpful, they had great suggestions, nothing was too much trouble! The event was a huge success, everything ran smoothly, so a massive thank you Fran and Ana. Xx
Highly recommend! Warm house, delicious food and incredible kind and friendly owner! Thank you, Fran. I was pleased to see and talk with you. As a Chinese student who has been living in the UK for four months, I find myself feeling anxious and worried about speaking freely with strangers. The owner is a great listener and communicator, and our conversations have been very enjoyable. I've gained a lot of confidence, and I'm very grateful to you! Wishing you and your family peace, health, happiness, and fulfillment!
We went there for the first time today and it was lovely. The coffee was very smooth, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. It truly is a hidden gem in Blackheath and I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re ever in the area.
The art kitchen is located inside the musical Conservatoire building which is very convenient for me to take my daughter to play at the sand pit.
The fruit tea is nice, and the blueberry muffins is the best in the village I think ( It is soft, nice and juicy with blueberry jams inside). The coffee is nice too.
The shop owner is very helpful and generous, always over filled my cup with tea or coffee and sometimes gives us a freebies
The prices is reasonable compared with others.
It is lovely to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee with blueberry muffin and watch my daughter playing happily.
Highly recommended!
I popped into Arts Kitchen today for a coffee as a first time customer today.
The coffee was spot on! Great taste and exceeded my expectations. Also helped by great ambiance, professional and friendly customer service. It was also good to see the space being utilized by customers of all age groups!
I would highly recommend a visit.
Attended a private, catered event at Arts Kitchen and the food was simply incredible. Great value too. The owner Fran is very friendly and welcoming. I like their coffee. It’s a great place for kids especially. Will definitely become a regular :)
