I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who is new patients. Office is very old and old furniture. I took my son for cysts and he gave a injection, one month of antibiotics, six pills on top of that which they sell it and gives it in white paper pouch, face wash and cream which they also sell it in office itself which cost me $50. On top of that, blue light treatment for about 8 to 10 mins. I am hesitant to use any of those products. Doctor was in rush to see next patient and not considering giving enough time to ask questions and concerns patient might have. He hardly took 5 minutes and out to see next patient. I should have read bad reviews before going to this place. I am definite not going back again and wouldn’t recommend anyone either.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.
Their system is severely flawed. The receptionists are super rude and unprofessional. This office is not for the people. Their only motive is to promote their own products and sell them off to their patients. Please for the love of God don't do it.
I think the reason he has so many bad reviews is that people read them and then go in with a certain expectation, without thinking critically. Dr. Katz has great reviews on othet platforms, so Google is a bit of an anomaly.
I went to him, and I also got the cream and the shot. But it wasn't because he was unprofessional, it just turns out that these are very common treatments. He prescribed the cream because I have acne (which is true) and the shot because I had a keeloid. He actually saved me some way more expensive and risky surgery by giving out this simple shot, and it worked. Now obviously everyone's experience is different, but I didn't get any of the unprofessional or rude experience that others seem to be describing.
I received claims from my insurance provider and they charged treatments that I did not do. Scammers are not supposed to be doctors. Read the reviews and you’ll know.
Quick appointment (through zocdoc) booking and quick visit. The
Office staff was able to pull my information from zocdoc before the appointment. I waited for the doctor around 10 minutes on the waiting room. Doctor identified my issue and got me on treatment the same day. The only downside is that he only works 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), so there is not much flexibility with scheduling.
And, Do1 star is a lot to give this doctor! My son was seen by him and immediately was prescribed 20mg of Prednisone without a prescription ..He had it handy and also some body cream that he sells..Lord knows what is made of?! This doctor is dangerous and must be reported! Do not go to him!
This doctor and his entire office is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere you won't be ripped off.
They don't explain anything and over charge the insurance companies for visits that should be covered. I just called to argue a bill because they performed something that wasn't explained or asked for and all the receptionist told me was "oh well you can pay it or it will be sent to collections"
Garbage staff garbage office. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if I could give this place 0 stars I would. Listen to the reviews and avoid this place at all cost. It's a joke
I use to go to him years ago and he was pretty good. Now, not so sure. Like many others said, I was injected with who knows what and given some type of cream for $25 that I don't believe is medically approved and didn't work. Im on a fixed income and has insurance that would pay for my RX. No warning or explanation for anything, just see you in a week. Don't think so.
