Had a wonderful experience! Needed my alternator replaced in a pinch and they diagnosed the issue, made sure I had the cheapest price possible, and had it fixed by the next day! Kevin was so kind and helpful! 10/10 recommend

Great Company with knowledgeable Mechanics.
I traveled from Louisiana to Virginia for work and had a radiator leak while in Virginia. I found this company on google, and showed up unannounced to speak to the shop owner and mechanic. They took my truck in immediately and check for the leak. They found that I just had a loose Radiator Reservoir cap. Thank goodness. Lol
But for this company to know that I was from out of town and on a tight time schedule, they were awesome. I highly recommend this company.

Cannot recommend this place enough!! Traveling from NJ to JMU for the weekend football game and experienced what i thought was a major engine issue. Most places closed on weekends but i found Arosteguis on Google. Called and was able to see me Saturday morning. I dropped my car Saturday morning and went to JMU football. Was expecting the worse as being from out of town and at their mercy as i had to get back to NJ on Sunday. Kevin and has father could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable. They called me at the game, told me the problem and cost and had it fixed and ready that afternoon. I was shocked at how inexpensive. Arostegui's will be my go to mechanic if ever in need in future. I would highly recommend to any JMU students and/or families as an honest place to have your car serviced.
So kind and helpful! I found myself here, 12 hours away from home, with a bad scrape along the side of my car. I needed a piece bent out-of-the-way so that I could continue to drive. Kevin was so helpful, adjusted it immediately, on the spot, so that I could safely drive back home again. I highly recommend him and his business!
Real good service in a family business, Ignacio is a real old fashioned gentleman. I highly recommend this place.
My truck's transmission went out directly in front of this place. The guy said he'd call me when he fixed it. after a month I stopped back in to see how the progress was going and he told me I would have to pay up front before he would even order the refurbished replacement.. Said he knew a guy but they needed the money up front. I told him he needed to fix it first then I would pay him. A week later I was going to take it somewhere else and he demanded that I pay him for having it sit in his parking lot. Then a few days later my truck disappeared. He scrapped it without my permission. This man is one of those shady mechanics that they warn you about... For those of you who say he fixed your car I wouldn't be surprised if you paid full price for used parts.
I stopped in about a week ago because I needed a tired changed.. there was a guy on the phone as I walked in. I waited for a few minutes, but couldn't waiting any longer. The guy paused his conversation to ask me how could he help me. Turned out he was the owner. He called his son out to take a look, then asked me to pull right into the bay. As I was waiting, the owner asked about my Air Force sticker. I told him my daughter was in the Air force. He shared with me that his son was also, but unfortunately he died. Then he took time from his business to personally attend to my situation. He changed my tire, but was not able to balance it due to the size of the wheel (22") but did not charge me for the time and labor. What a wonderful experience I had meetings him, his son, and other staff members of his business. I had never heard of his shop, just happened to stop there on a whim. Just the politeness, courtesy, professionalism, how welcome they made me feel was enough to earn my business as a repeat customer in the future.. thanks again, you guys made my day!!!????????
