My husband & I were having our holiday in Fort William. While walking along the Fort William high street on the 2/10/2023 - Monday. I found this Cafe Aroma which served Chinese food. Those pictures of Chinese dishes caught my attention. I went inside the cafe. I was a little confused in the beginning. Inside the restaurant doesn't look like a Chinese restaurant. I speak to the sweet lady at the counter.. After a few conversations in Chinese. I found out she is very helpful, friendly & welcoming. Thank you so much for her kind services. The food I ordered was on special request. She meets up to my diet requirements. The food is absolutely delicious, authentic Chinese food. I go back for more. I disagreed with some people who commented on reviews that the food is expensive. I feel a reasonable price. Some comments that certain foods do not have enough vegetables. This again, I do not agree with. Considering this part of the world of Fort William. The cost of getting vegetables would be expensive from the supplier. One has to understand how the restaurant obtained their vegetables supply from. Especially in the cold climate town. Overall. I dare say. Their services & food were amazing, delicious, and authentic. It's better than many Chinese takeaways from the big city. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Aroma was amazing! The food was absolutely wonderful. It had incredible flavor. The staff were incredible, friendly and courteous. The price was fair for the extraordinary food. I highly recommend eating at aroma. Food ordered: crispy chicken.
Nice little cafe in fort William . We visited this cafe when we stopped over in fort William. Little walk from parking and beautiful views over sea from cafe. We had multiple Chai Latte , there are delicious . Highly recommended place . Helpful staff. We visited on our way back to have the chai latte. It’s in high street definitely no parking , park outside and walk to high street.
Food was nice and simple, but could've used more types of veggies. Spring roll and dumplings only had cabbage and my noodle-dumpling soup had just lettuces.
It’s a nice little place but the staff weren’t really that welcoming. I am not sure if it is because they’re short staffed as it was quite busy with only one person serving and making coffee. The Lemon Drizzle cake is to die for though and the coffee is quite nice too.
Solid Chinese food and coffee shop to boot! I think in a small town like this, it makes the best business sense to combine two specialities in one shop. But don’t let that fool you into thinking the food is just “all right.” The Chinese cuisine is the real deal.
On our way to Inverness from Glasgow we stopped for a while at Fort Williams. We wish we entered any other cafe than this one. The lady at the till was super confused. To be fair to her she said it was her first day. The lady who came out from inside to help, was the rudest person I have ever come across in a tourist town. They literally took over 10 minutes to process an order of 2 Americanos. We got the feeling that we can get further delayed so asked for the Coffees in takeaway cups (they had them… they advertise coffee to take away…. we didn’t ask for the moon). They didn’t seem pleased. The lady who came from inside to help, was the one who looked more irritated. “Do you need a lid” (for the takeaway coffee), she asked my wife. She looked even more irritated when we did ask for a lid. Fort Williams is such a pretty town and the city centre is full of character. Just please don’t waste your time at Aroma’s Cafe.
Looking for a place to sit in and have lunch, found this fusion cafe. Lots of choices in regards to hot drinks, and the menu included vegan and vegetarian options of Chinese cuisine. The staff were very nice and welcoming and provided us recommendations. The food was nice and had good size portions. The only downside is the price, our meal cost £55 for two starters and two mains! I don't think the cost reflects the quality or quantity of food given.
