Absolutely amazing! A tad bit slow service but it was extremely busy. Very friendly waiters and the food was amazing! We got the calimari, seafood soup, white sauce with sausages carbonara, clam chowder, Italian wedding soup, tiramisu, prickly pear margaritas, and raviolis for the kiddo! Loved every dish! And you definitely get what you pay for. Large proportions and very close to authentic
The food has been excellent in the past, recently the service is so bad you won't have a chance to try it.
My wife and I came in for a late lunch. Nice lady behind the bar said sit anywhere. That was the last acknowledgment that we were there. The ladies working were very attentive of the 4 guys sitting at the bar. We never even got menus. Only one other occupied table, never saw any service for them either. Left after about 10-15 minutes. Disappointing, as we know the food is very good.
I went here for the first time with my kids the other day. The server was great and the food was very good. I got the Ray Hero. It was very good. A little light on the meat for my liking, but still very good. I also had the meatballs that came with my kids spaghetti. They're vegetarians so I won out on that front. Really good. I would definitely recommend and plan to go back.
We had a very nice server who brought water for our dog and, even though we sat outside, still provided excellent and friendly service.
I had a Dragon IPA which was very cold and very fresh. Our sandwiches were not very good and when I went inside to use the restroom I passed the kitchen. Admittedly this was a "don't watch the sausage being made" experience, but if I had seen the kitchen previously I would have stopped here for a Saturday afternoon beer, but I won't have come here for lunch.
We went with friends, and it was so delicious. I'm from New York and we are fussy about our Italian food, and it was so good. The sauce was like I remember from NY. We'll be back.
Nothing like having your business be completely unappreciated. Thanks for forgetting to put my order in and making me wait an additional 25 minutes all while never apologizing nor acknowledging your mistake and even being completely unfriendly. Guess we'll now find somewhere else to drop large sums of money on family dinners. Pretty disappointed I'd much rather support a local small business than PaPa Murphys but that's definitely where I'll head next time. I'd give only 1 star if it weren't for the food being good.????
One of the best authentic Italian restaurants I've eaten at, period! This is food the way it's meant to be prepared with fresh ingredients and lots of love.
It's a relatively small hole-in-the-wall which has a unique downhome feel like you're eating in somebody's large banquet room at a large home.
My family ordered the Ray's Combo (everything) Pizza, a calzone with mushrooms olives sausage pepperoni, and chicken parmesan with a cup of wedding soup. EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDINGLY DELICIOUS! ????
For desert we ordered the Almond Creme Cake, Tiramisu, and Triple Chocolate Cake. The spoon melted right through each savory bite and the chocolate cake was not too rich and surprisingly good!
What a gem of a local family Italian restaurant. The owner, Ray, was humbly working away bussing tables and blended right in with his friendly staff. This is an instant family favorite and we can't wait to come back to sample the entire menu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I’ve been going here since I was in high school. Always love it. Whether it be take out or dining in, this place is really the best. The menu has a little of something for everyone. The owners are always so nice and friendly. The wait staff included. I happily recommend this place to my friends and family. Support local!
