I booked an MOT the day before, and the mechanic looked shocked I had turned up. I had to show proof of making the call yesterday for him to honour the MOT nearly. It made me feel incredibly unwelcome, and they mentioned they would be closed at 3 pm for me to come back and collect my car. 3 pm on a Tuesday?! Needless to say, I will take my car elsewhere.
