I got a chili dog and chili nachos. The nachos look so simple- chips with chili on top but man- it is the best chili I've ever had. I am so glad we tried Arbetter's hot dogs!
Decided to try this historic little hotdog restaurant, since it has been around for so long and seems to be a popular spot for locals! I went inside to order a beef hotdog with mustard and sauerkraut to go - a standard. Service was fast and friendly, hotdog was nice and hot. The hotdog itself was OK, it was a little soft for a beef hotdog, I like a little bit more snap, like a Sabretts. I also like the bun toasted, but I know that is not traditional- even in NYC. They are known for their homemade chili dogs - so I will try that next time. They have a lot of other menu choices, good prices, a small eat in area and a drive thru - that seemed very efficient - great for a short lunch break.
My mother in law said she use to go to this place all the time. Got 3 chili dogs and fries for under $12.00. They made it all fresh to order I thought it was soo delicious. I will definitely be back.
Hot dogs straight out the hot dog pack. Overcharged two hot dogs two small fries 20 bucks I would never go there again. I didn't go to the drive thru I went inside where there was not a full menu. I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion rather they liked their visit or not. I did also order a drink but still can't see how that would still come to $20.
Popped up here for a quick bite for lunch. Swerved in the drive thru like a crazy hungry man… it’s been a while since I last been here.. but I know this place been a lasting establishment since the 1980’s.
I just wanted a few beef hotdogs, so I ordered 2 Chilli dogs and 1 regular hotdog w/ relish, Ketchup and mustard… the dogs had some soft buns that I liked. Nothing too spectacular about the dog itself.. also had a small side of fries and onion rings.
Everything was ok…wouldn’t mind stopping back to try something different on the menu. I heard the shakes were slamming so I may come back to try the shakes.
Another whole in the wall yummy food joint. Good food, chill vibes, and decent prices. Drive thru service or dine in options. Not the cleanest but if I’m back in the area I’ll be stopping by again soon.
Excellent hot dogs and milk shakes, got a corn dog and a chillin cheese dog. The chilli cheese dog was freaking delicious!! They make they're chilli in house and definitely know what they're doing. Worth the stop for sure
Best hot dogs we've had in Florida. Loved the Kraut dog. Note: Nobody can make a Choice cago dog properly in Florida.
