My favourite Caribbean food place in London. Their curry mutton is full of flavour and tasty. My kids loves their beef and cheesy beef patty.
Always friendly and willing to make fresh patty when they are out. Only downside is the limited amount of seating but take away caters to most people's need.
Excellent food; freshly made and full of flavour. We just keep coming back! Brilliant selection for vegans too- so many options. Highly recommend the burgers. The milkshakes are delicious. The dumplings are heavenly! Makes for a wonderful picnic in the park nearby or to take back home for a movie night. Ian and Claudine are lovely people too and always so friendly. Definitely a go-to.
Shop is really beautiful. The lady at the front was really friendly and welcoming. But unfortunately the food is not authentic Jamaican food. Food was really salty. Rice and peas not Jamaican. Its just white rice with peas added to it. But it's not seasoned right. I would go back but I just want them to improve the food.
Fantastic food, I ordered Curry Chicken with plantain, a portion of dumplings and some coleslaw, and rice and peas. Highly recommend, great food, great people, great service!
Me and my other half ordered the peppered steak and 2 beef patties to take away,the staff were friendly and the shop was clean and tidy. The peppered steak was very spicy,how I like it and the portion size was good.They forgot to pack our beef patties so I rang the shop and told them,they were apologetic and promised on our next visit they would rectify this ????, would recommend and will be visiting them again.So today,Saturday the 24th of Feb,2024 we decided to order again,this time my husband went and ordered our dinner1 curry chicken with rice and peas and 1 pepper steak with rice and peas and 2 lamb patties, these were NOT large meals....grand total 28 pounds! We would be very happy to pay this price if the food was plentiful, tasty etc,the peppered steak was tiny slivers in a huge amount of gravy,which was tasty,but all all gravy! The chicken curry only tasted of salt,no heat or spice and was sitting in the most watery liquid ever....not even gravy,with potatoes and carrot.I am hugely sorry for my husband who went and ordered and paid for it! My husband's mother is jamaican and I'm. Sorry to say but she would have shaken her head at what we got served,highly disappointed on this occasion ☹

Their curry goat wrap is a must try, and the delicious Fish Platter on Fish Friday is so good, 4 different fish along with festivals and rice and peas,.

Ordered for the first time today, very impressed with the chicken soup, and my mains, stew chicken and oxtail with rice and peas was delicious, and the cake was also lovely, and food arrived hot and within the time stated, can't wait till I order again.
Very very average food. Oxtail very oily and watery. Rice and peas was non descript and lack flavour and colour. Lamb neck soup was disappointing. Great customer service and nice people.
