Easily the worst meal we’ve ever had and the prices were outrageous. To start, all our apps came out after our entres (which all came out at different times). The spinach and artichoke dip was $14 and we got stale and chewy chips. Literally inedible. Picture attached. We tried to ask for more fresh chips and got more of the same old dry chewy chips. The menu also said it came with pita and we got no pita.
Also attached is a picture of the $18 quesadilla I ordered. It was the first thing out and that’s probably because they didn’t even bother to cook the cheese. It was supposed to come with fixings like lettuce pico rice etc. and came with nothing. I had to ask twice for the stuff that was supposed to be on the $18 quesadilla. I ended up with a plate of old lettuce and a tomato and never got the rice. At absolute most that thing should be worth $10, but I’ve seriously seen more impressive quesadillas from a kids menu. For $18 it’s absolutely mind boggling to serve something of such low quality.
We also ordered the BBQ pork sandwich which literally came with no BBQ? It was just plain pork. And a Philly sandwich which was also so bad we couldn’t eat more than half. I’m disgusted and horrified at the quality of food especially considering the outrageous price. The meals should be 1/3 the price for what you’re getting. I’ve had better quality food from Taco Bell at 3am.
I will say the waitress was nice and tried to fix the issues with the food but we could tell they were fed up with the kitchen too. Although, a good waitress should be able to tell the food is coming out wrong in the first place. And I know the issues with the food were brought to the managers attention but she never came over to our table to address the problem. Also, the restaurant was not busy at this time. Overall, Blue parrot next door is 100x better. This place is a major let down and we will not be returning.
Great little spot on the water. Large beer and drink list. We had the wings with the house sauce, they were cooked to perfection. They were not too spicy with a nice Thai chili/BBQ flavor. Highly recommend!
Wow what an amazing experience! To start I had a great server named Reagan who was super attentive and had great recommendations which was really relieving cause I’m so indecisive. There was another server named Kaitlyn that gave great service and happily got me some ranch and asked if I needed anything else even though she wasn’t my server which is above and beyond in my book. The food was perfect too I got the triple tacos and portion sizes they give you make the prices worth every penny. Lastly the location is beautiful with great views everywhere you look and lots of outdoor seating, no better place to relax and drink a cold one. I will definitely be back
This place has really jump in bounds. Last time I was ther PBR was the best beer on the menu. Actually have some craft brews available now. Plus it's the best place to love our local southern/blues/rock heroes, "Preacher Stone" ~ ????????
definitely on the more expensive side but a very quaint little place on the lakeside. there are docks that make the place accessible by boat. loved the beachy atmosphere, the staff were friendly, food came quickly and tasted good. no complaints
Never have been here and man was the food good and service on point. Me and a friend sat outside and got just as much service as the people who were here as regulars it would seem and having lunch on the inside. Had a young woman who was super attentive and patient as I spent at least an hour and a half here. Consistently checking in and having small convos. Bartender made great cocktails and I would definitely recommend travelers to stop in for their spinach dip and does pickles !
I’ve worked in the food service industry for five years and never before been this appalled by such horrible service. Our server misheard a member from our party on their food order (mistakes happen we understand. But mistakes should be met with professionalism). After waiting an hour for food, the wrong dish was delivered. Instead of apologizing, our server argued back with us that it was our fault, gas lighting our party. She was incredibly rude and never apologized for the mistake. We met the manager who was even more unprofessional than our server. Again, instead of apologizing or helping to find a solution she immediately met us with defence, coming up with a ton of different excuses as to why she couldn’t help us. It was hard to believe we were speaking to a “manager” as her vape was hanging out of our bra strap. While we sat and delt with this situation the table next to us was asking their server to take food off of the check because it was taking too long. And another table behind us had returned their food to the kitchen. During that situation we saw the manager take the table’s food, turn her back to the customers and make a nasty face. Safe to say it wasn’t this restaurant’s best night. I would recommend not eating here until the staff is better trained. Such a shame because the location of this place is wonderful and the food wasn’t half bad.
Food sucked and the waitresses cared more about looking at their phones instead of making sure customers didn't need a refill on our drinks. I'm sorry but every 10 minutes you should be checking that we don't need anything. Also bar tender was walking g off so often to smoke she or do what ever she was doing that the waitresses had to wait 10 and 15 minutes just to get us the drinks we ordered. So pretty much when you order a drink expect an over all wait time of 30 minutes. It wasn't even busy!
