I decided to try a New Mexican Restaurant today and the previous reviews made this an easy decision. The outside is the restaurant is clean and has a sign that easily identifies the restaurant.
As I entered the restaurant, I was quickly greeted and my order was promptly taken. It was about 10 minutes total to get my food.
I ordered the Asada burrito dinner and was very impressed with the taste of the steak. The burrito had little to no grizzle on the steak which is a big plus in my book. It was just over $11 for a burrito, rice, and beans. With the prices the way they are, this is a good price. The burrito was filled with meat and was a perfect lunch choice. I also have to commend the effort they put into packing the to go container so the food isn’t a jumble mess in there. They also supplied napkins, hot sauce, silverware, etc without being asked.
The inside of the restaurant was clean. I only wished they had some tables to enjoy my food inside instead of in my car.
Walked in with my two boys just before closing and they were happy to see and serve us. Taco Tuesday is 3 for $6 bucks, which is an unbeatable deal today, and came out fresh and delicious. Best part might be the freshly made churros, however, as they are serious in size and came out perfect. We waited maybe 10 min for our order, totally fine, and were told each of us could get a drink on the house. Looking forward to giving them more of my business in the future.
Steak burrito dinner was incredible and so cheap. Just found my new go to Mexican place. They had my order ready in 20 minutes.
Great Mexican food. Scratch made nachos and the best burrito I've had in a while. Staff is very friendly and the establishment is clean and well maintained. It's take our only, but it comes very well packaged and includes everything necessary. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
What can I say? I finally found authentic comida Veracruzana. Hands down the best Mexican food around. This is what I actually call authentic Mexican cuisine. Service was great and the food was amazing!! Clean and fresh made. We ordered garnachas, Flautas, empanadas and the sope veracruzano. Delicioso!

Best Mexican food in Crystal Lake. I had the shrimp tacos and they gave you 3 large shrimp in each taco. My husband had the steak burrito and said it was excellent. Extremely clean inside. Highly recommend.
Absolutely the best Mexican food in McHenry County. Don’t sleep on this gem, we went twice this past weekend after our first dinner was out of this world!
Very authentic Mexican food and friendly staff, the tacos are great and the quesadillas.
They have diferent sauces defenaly I recomend this place if you want good food for you money!!
