My son loves this place and will not let me leave Atlanta without eating here. And guess what? It was absolutely delicious. Every single dish we had was true southern cuisine. Rich in flavors. Good portions and well presented. The ambiance was great, like a warm, cozy home. It is a very busy place so make a reservation or go in early. The service was good, but food took a little longer than I wanted to, but it was worth the wait. Def recommended it and can't wait to be back, yall!
My family and I are new to the area and wanted to try out this restaurant based on reviews and pictures of food. We placed our online order, and after a long wait (we waited in the parking lot and we expected a long wait with it being a Sunday), we got home (only 7 minutes away) to cold food. It was clear that if hot and fresh it may have actually been worth the time and money. It was as if the food was just tossed together and thrown in the containers and left to sit. I understand being busy but it is very disheartening when you are new to an area and have heard great about a place. We are willing to try one more time, maybe just in restaurant seating and not on a Sunday.
I had the pancakes minus the whipped cream. The bananas were ripe and the pecans were fresh. The rum sauce was the perfect topper for these golden brown cakes. This is definitely my new breakfast spot. They have outdoor seating which overlooks the market area. The atmosphere is like sitting on your grandmother’s wrap around porch in the summer. It is a nice place for brunch.
The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was good overall except the pancakes that were dry and tasteless. The place was super noisy. Next time I will wait for a table on the patio.

Unfortunately this just kinda sucked in every way. Took forever to get a water and coffee, forever to get food, forever to get refills on the drinks. Sever blamed the kitchen being crazy but that’s not the reason for taking so long to get a water. When the food finally came my order was wrong and my wife’s food wasn’t hot. We didn’t bother pointing this out because we just didn’t want to waste any more time. Not worth the time or money.
This was my 3rd time visiting this place. The food is very delicious. The coffee is also great. I visited different places and so far their coffee is the best. You can visit with family and friends. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The wait time to be seated was less than 5 minutes and for the food I think was ready rather quickly. I have a good time every time that I visit this place.
Very professional looking place.
We ordered Mardi Gras omelette. Was very nice and soft. As the first timers they brought us beignets.
Definitely a come back location.
