Had a wonderful meal with the family and got a great deal. We had ordered a large pie with wings and a 2 liter of soda, all for under $30! The owner, Caitlin, is very attentive and kept checking in on us throughout our meal and ensured we had everything we needed. The menu has lots of options, so there is something for everyone. Overall, the service and the food were great! Everything came out in a timely manner and was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back!
I used to be a huge fan of this place when it was owned by the Greek gentleman. They used the freshest ingredients for a reasonable price. This is no longer the case. My son's mother ordered a small pizza and small order of chicken wings a week ago, they charged almost $30! Last night I ordered a large house salad. Ice berg lettuce, a few tomatoes, it did have some rolled up cold cuts, which was too much meat. They somehow forgot the onions. $18! Absolutely insane. The people were nice enough, but you would be smiling too if you were making 900% profit. I won't be going back. Unbelievable.
Stopped in for a quick pick up. Pizza was awesome. Dough was fresh, toppings were prime quality, just the right amount of cheese. Much better than the other places I have eaten at around here.
This place is amazing! They are very friendly there. I have been coming here since i was a kid maybe 3 or 4 years old. Almost 21 now. The steak and cheese is my favorite thing to get here, very reasonable price, excellent portion and the fries are very good as well. Everything is fresh in there! Would rate another 5 stars if i could
I have a really big feeling they just cook up a frozen pizza and put it in a pizza box. Quality of the pizza is just gross. The wings are also like refried frozen wings. Yuck!! Definitely not going here again. I knew I shoulda just got teddys, just wanted to try something new :(
We ordered a large pizza and a calzone the other night for pick-up. Anley's called us right back to let us know they were out of ricotta for the calzone, we said no problem, next time. But, much to our surprise and delight, when we went to pick up our pizza, they had our calzone, ricotta and all, ready for us. The above and beyond customer service was much appreciated! And the calzone was delicious - it topped my list of all time greats. Bravo!
I’ve had better pizza from digiorno. Anyone in these reviews who thinks the pizza here is good likely believes sound view is the best part of Old Lyme.
Do yourself a favor and go to teddy’s pizza down the street.
I have ordered “kings pasta meal” many times in the past. It used to be a large serving, plenty food for 2 of us. Not anymore. When we opened the container it looked half empty. Also the sauce had chunky tomatoes and tasted raw. I will not return
