I enjoyed my experience and most likely will return. I had 2 Pupusa tacos. Chicken and Steak. Very tasty and a pleasant surprise when the cheese gushes out the middle of pupusa while enjoying your taco!
Good People…there were dozens of folks in my inbox about this Salvadoran Pupuseria Restaurant in Landover. YUNG…they got off menu pupusa (a round grilled corn or flour cake with cheese, and/or meat in it) TACOS!! PuTacos!! I had to get here!!

Their PuTacos: *all come with cilantro, lime, green salsa & onions* (3 tacos-steak, chicken, & chorizo all on cheesy grilled Pupusas $6.50).
The Steak Putaco…STAMP!! Superbly seasoned steak, plentiful, & soft shell cheesy!! Lime it up, & dip it in that salsa!!
The Chicken PuTaco…STAMP!! Again well seasoned chicken, thick, & ridiculously delicious!!
The Chorizo PuTaco…STAMP!! Y’all the chorizo, chicken, & steak are TRULY seasoned well!!

The Pupusa’s…STAMP!! Cheesy, grilled, tasty!!
The Chicharron (fried pork)…STAMP!! I’m not a fan…until TODAY!! Crispy, meaty, dipped in their salsas…YES!!
Their Yucca…DELICIOUS. Hot, but just good.
Their Fajita Mix…LIKE THAT!! Very well seasoned, meaty, juicy, with the juice from the red, & green peppers!!
The Quesadillas…LIKE THAT!! Cheesy, crisp outside, & seasoned well!!
The Wings…DECENT. I needed more flavor, crispy, good.
The Horchata & Sorell (homemade, $3.50 each). STAMP them both!! Thick, sweet horchata, & refreshingly tasty Sorell!!

IF YOU ARE A FAN OF DELICIOUS FLAVOR, GO HERE IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
Angel's Restaurant is a very unsuspecting place, so go in knowing that there's not much to look at while you eat. BUT!!! The food MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR THAT!! I went in craving tacos and I wasn't disappointed at all! They have "putacos" which is a glorious marriage of a pupusa and a taco, and they are heavenly!!!! I also ordered their chicken tacos and I was in love with them too!! Our waitress was also very nice and kindly explained the menu to us, which helped a lot! I can't wait to go back!!
if you're a fan of tacos and pupusas, this place is a dream come true! I was blown away by their steak putacos (pupusas + tacos). The service is exceptional – fast and friendly staff. A must-visit for foodies!
This place is great. The food is delicious, (had a chicken burrito that was smothered in cheese and Salvadoran hot sauce and really great fried yucca) and the ladies in the kitchen are very sweet. The atmosphere inside isn't the greatest (it's dark), but you can do takeout if you want. Pupusa tacos are an interesting idea.

Amazing local-family owned restaurant! The pupusas are so cheesy and stuffed with a ton of meat! The yuca con chicharrón is my favorite thing here! The grilled steak is full of so much flavor too. Friendly staff and amazing customer service.
Very racist location. Seem like they only want people from Hispanic descent to eat there. Woman at the front counter told me to hold on while she literally walked over to take a customer from a guy at the bar. Also a man came behind me and asked her a question and she didn’t hesitate to assist. Finally a woman who spoke English asked me if I needed assistance. She was ok. Mind you all the people that I am talking about are Hispanic. I am African American woman.
The food was seasoned ok. No special frills to their so called special tacos. The cost should be $4.00 a taco. The only special thing is the cheese in the bread. I will not return to them.
