UPDATE: Went back and told them what happened and they were so nice about it! 7 of the nails with tips had come off by the time I got here, so I got gel on my natural nails and they did not charge to fix the issue. With that said, I will be back! Just not for SNS with tips:)
I came here for the first time on Friday, May 17th. I originally asked for gel on my nails and a basic pedicure, but they asked if I wanted SNS instead, and with several events coming up, I decided to go with SNS with tips because it usually lasts longer.
Less than a week later, SIX of my nails have popped off like cheap drugstore press ons. The first two came off while I was sleeping on Monday night. Another one while I was sleeping last night, and the remaining 3 during my workday today (Wednesday, May 22nd), while I have been doing nothing but type and make calls. I work a desk job mostly from home and I’m 33 weeks pregnant, so it’s not like I’m doing anything strenuous to have caused this. Only reason I’m leaving two stars on this review is because the pedicure was lovely.
I am going back later today to see what they will do to fix this situation, and will update my review accordingly.
I came on a Sunday, my bad. It was super busy but they still made time for me. The gentleman that did my nails was very attentive & listened to what I wanted. I wanted something different since I'm always getting plain nails & he did a great job ! I highly recommend this place but if you don't want it super busy, go during the week.
This is the only place I have been going to for about a year now! Even on the busy days you do not wait long to be seated at a station. The prices are affordable and out of the many manicures I have gotten here , I have only ever not loved one set .
I have found my salon! The price is fair for the quality, and I never feel rushed. Any design I’ve given has been executed perfectly. If you haven’t been here yet, I promise you will never go anywhere else after!
Honest review:
The did my nails exactly how I asked for them! They were so kind, and very gentle. Not in a rush, very professional, even though they were super busy they took their time with each person. I love how my nails turned out.
They offered a water bottle to everyone in the building, and they made sure you were well taken care of. I would definitely go regularly if I lived in this area. $35 for the hot oil pedi, and $60 for dip and tips. Price didn’t bother me for the service
Today was my first visit to Angel’s Nails and Spa. I was very pleased. They offer a classic pedicure or for $5 more you can get hot oil soak and they will use the massager on your feet. Summer time they offer a slushy and today they handed out gifts for Mother’s Day. I will definitely go back as long as my nails hold up. Even if they don’t I will go back and give them an opportunity to make them stronger. You should go try them out.
An awful experience. They rushed us over to sit down while I was still trying to ask if I could look at the colors. When they tried to start on my nails, I told them not to worry about it and That I would only get a pedicure. The woman looked at me like I was crazy & rudely asked if I went to look at the colors over by the wall and I told her that I literally just asked her if I could and she told me to just sit down. That’s when they finally brought over another color book for me to look through.
This is a service that we all spend money on, so I’m not going to get something I don’t want just to please the people I’m paying to do it.
The woman had a rude attitude the entire time, and put my foot at the very top of the nail dryer and LITERALLY BURNT my foot. When I pulled it out she rolled her eyes and acted like I was crazy. The man doing my nails, which is her husband I’m guessing, told me they don’t do nail art when I asked if I could get some on my nails. I have polish all over the tops of my feet.
They didn’t tell anyone they didn’t accept cards, only Venmo or Zelle, until I was at the register to pay. She held me there for 10 minutes after I sent the money for me and my daughter’s mani and pedi. I showed her the receipt on my phone and she still wouldn’t let me go. She took my phone and clicked the back button to go back to my BANK ACCOUNT and how much money I had in my bank. Overall, absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been once before a few months ago & he botched my nails. Decided to give it another shot since it was the closest place to us, which was a big mistake. They over charged me for the services I agreed to. Awful service and attitudes, other than the one older woman who did my daughter’s nails and a younger woman with bangs who offered my daughter some candy. She had a great attitude and was so respectful and lively. Other than that, I will never go back, and I wrote this to warn others about their services. There’s another place called Star Nail Bar near there that I’ve heard great things about, and will be going there next time! Awful attitudes = awful service. Don’t expect people to pay for something they don’t want/never asked for! Completely unacceptable
Horrible experience. The man that did my gel pedicure was very rough with cutting my cuticles and actually was digging and cutting that he drew blood on my right big toe. He grabbed some cotton and just placed it on the area that was bleeding and took my foot and placed it in the water. No antiseptic at all. I asked him to be more gentle. He acted as though he didn’t understand what I was saying. He continued to be aggressive with the callous remover, my body including my feet were so tense. The overall experience was stressful and not pleasant at all. Also, pricing at this place compared to other salons in the area is about $30 more for the same service. I won’t be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone.
