To start off with, there was only one person on the till, and they were hidden away in a corner. I was shocked by the price of £6.50 for a milkshake. Nevertheless, I ordered one. There were quite a few people in the line behind me, and they proceeded to order multiple drinks while I only ordered one. I was waiting there for more than 10 minutes for just one drink, while the other customers also patiently waited. in the end the customers behind me got their orders left and I was waiting there. The drink itself was alright, but not worth wasting 10 minutes and spending £6.50.
I had a coffee and a sandwich at the Angel Cafe at Coptall Sports Centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the opportunity to chat with the owners regarding a charity event and enjoyed the positive atmosphere. The coffee was excellent and the owner took a real interest in why I liked it and if there was any aspect I didn't like as he was keen for feedback. Very positive I thought.

What a fantastic and pretty addition to the area! Had an absolutely delicious lunch there. We all had different dishes, each one was so tasty and you could tell it had been made with great care. Great coffee and a mouth-watering selection of (vegan) desserts - the chocolate fudge cake made my weekend! Thank you for the warm welcome and excellent service, Angel Café, we'll be back soon!

Next time I’ll take a photo but I was too busy savouring a Flat White exactly as it should taste and feel (Aussies will know what I mean…) AND I’m blown away how perfectly it was done with oat milk (hail the plant milk fans out there). So good I had to have 2 cups. Best•Flat•White•Outside•Australia

This local cafe is absolutely a gem! Food, cakes are delicious here! I had the most amazing oat latte to die for! The owners abs staff are so polite, attentive and friendly, would defiantly recommend it to anyone! Let’s support our local businesses!
It was my first time in Angel cafe. What a fantastic experience! I had the best coffee in a long time, cakes are delish and can't fault the friendly staff offering great service...By the way, if the hygiene is important to you, just check the spotless toilet! Couldn't help it but took a photo! Perfect place to meet up with friends... I would highly recommend it!
