Started going here because my son and I couldn't get into our normal spot in South Amboy. Have been going for the last 6+ months and very happy. They do a great job with kids and with beard trimming. Great prices. Make sure to call in advance because they can get very busy and there are usually only 2 or 3 guys on.
Andrew was top notch, haircut was one of the best I’ve gotten in my 30 years. After 3 years in Jersey and 10 different stops, super happy I came back and got my haircut for a second time. I will definitely be back and would suggest everyone in town check them out.
I've been looking for a new local barber for awhile now...my search has ended. Andrew's Hair Studio on Main St. Sayreville is it! I get a military/police style cut and not everyone does it right, but yesterday, Elvis got it perfect! Elvis was very professional, personable, and knows his stuff. Best haircut I got in 40 yrs living here in town. Yes, I felt it was that good..I highly recommend this place and Elvis..when he's in the house! ????????
Chris did my son’s haircut since my boys are getting older and wanted a different hairstyle. Chris did an amazing job, both of my boys loved their new haircut and definitely is highly recommendable

Never posted a review before so bear with me. I went to this shop for the first time since my other barber is kinda far, and since this one is in town and had pretty good reviews I figured why not. I have been getting the same haircut for 10+ years and it’s not overly complicated or anything. when I went to the barber there was one barbe there Spanish speaking only which wasn’t a problem since I have gotten cut by barbers that only speak Spanish before and the language is the same used familiar words like short, scissor cut etc. He started cutting and I tried my best to tell him how I wanted it throughout as I saw him straying from that and well the cut was absolutely horrible. Nothing like I wanted, didn’t walk out of there feeling good at all. He didn’t apply any alcohol or powder, or even really brush my hair. So I’m not happy with it to say the least. But overall the shop was nice, waited about half an hour or so, music playing and the barber was a nice guy. My experience was disappointing but maybe it’s an isolated incident.
Went for a haircut yesterday. I called ahead to make an appointment and hit some traffic on my way. Called and said I'd be almost 30 minutes late and they said it was no problem. Got there and there was already 3 people waiting, but they took me right in since I did call. Andrew had just come in and he took me right away. By far one of the best haircuts I've gotten. Andrew listened to exactly what I wanted and quickly went to work. He was very friendly, while also being extremely professional and quick. He's been in the business a long time and it shows. I felt bad since I didn't have cash on me (it is cash only) but Andrew said it was no problem and to take my time going to get it. I cannot say enough about him or the way that he does business. I haven't had the other barbers yet, but I know they have learned from Andrew and I will definitely be back. This place is a local gem!
