I have celiac disease and it was nice to have gluten free options: pizza, pasta, and meats. They offer GF bread before the meal. However, the bread was gross (super crumbly & thick) and the chicken parms (un-breaded chicken) pasta was over cooked with under cooked cheese. The sauce was not the best either.
The Expresso Creme Brulee was a good option, but it was not my favorite.
About 20 minutes after eating, I felt sick. We called to verify my food was GF, which it was. My guess is the food was contaminated. As for meals that have gluten, my boyfriend did not care for the Bolognese.
Our waitress and the atmosphere were nice, which is why I bumped the stars up to two.
Amanda served my party tonight of 10 guests and she made the evening incredibly warm , enjoyable, and inviting. Balanced everything from our massive orders for drinks and entrees and she topped off the evening with a dessert platter to celebrate a birthday. I appreciate the thoroughness and courtesy she put into the evening! Will be back again for drinks and dinner again!!
We sat at the bar and started with a Sicilian Manhattan and a Andiamo Tini. Ordered two apps, the polpotini and sausage arancini. All were perfectly tasty. We then shared a veal saltimbocca which was very good. They should have listed that it was a bone in veal chop. Service was excellent.
Food is good, including as take out. Atmosphere is good most of the week. Keep an eye on the website to see if they’re any events. They have a history of very loud music, that may or may not be your thing.
Our waitress Nicole B was outstanding!!!!, The food was top notch with nothing to missed compared to downtown Boston. I highly recommend their cocktail drinks and draft beers as well. Prices are fair and the cozy ambiance it's perfect for a date night.
This is a pretty nice Italian restuarant. I was seated right away and provided with some excellent bread with oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce while I determined what I wanted to eat. I ordered one of their 4 salad choices and the short rib with ravioli. The salad was good sized with a very flavorful dressing. The short ribs were fall apart tender and very rich tasting. It was so rich I could only eat half the plate.
LOVED this restaurant! If you're looking for an awesome Birthday dinner or date night - check them out! Definitely going back - the menu was elevated and prices were absolutely fair. We had the chicken saltimbocca and butternut squash ravioli (the sauce was rich but not heavy), the 4 rav. portion was perfect for the hubs - get 6 if you prefer large portions or want leftovers.
First time here and it was FANTASTIC! Service, food, drinks, atmosphere…everything was great. I wish I had taken photos but we were starving haha. We came in at the last hour before closing (unfortunately on our part) this past Friday night to have a late Valentine’s Day dinner and when we walked in we were immediately greeted by Jennifer. Having been a server in the past, I know how frustrating it can be for last minute tables to walk in when you want to go home. She did not make us feel like a burden; she was so bubbly from the get-go, it instantly made us feel welcomed. Jennifer ended up being our server too, which in all honestly we were so glad happened because we lucked out. It’s her only night working there & she was absolutely phenomenal. In between waiting for food and drinks and after they were delivered, Jennifer did check ins with us to make sure no additional items were needed. She made us feel so comfortable - we had great conversation & laughs. We will definitely be returning on another Friday night, for the food and amazing service!
