We came here by accident and didnt regret it. Anacapri is a very authentic Italien Restaurant with great service and good food. Before ordering we got some olives, bread and butter as starters including some water. Our pasta (Tagliatelle with spinach and cream) was really good and the Chef also gave us some tips what to see next in the area.
The atmosphere and decorations were warm and seemed authentic. Service was great and we didn't wait long for the food.

Pasta was basic & bland. The seafood pasta smelt pretty awful & was mostly inedible. The creme caramel was the same. House wine was basic & rough. The place is pretty grotty. The service was attentive if not a bit rushed. Not that we wanted to hang around. And it was expensive. I don't recommend it at all & wished someone had written a more balanced review. I think the service leads people to be unhelpfully polite
Very kind staff, prompt service, and reasonable prices. We only had spaghetti carbonara, but unfortunately it wasn’t very appetising. The pancetta was soft and they used cream instead of egg yolks and cheese to make the sauce and as a result it’s runny and tasteless. It’s hard not to sound pretentious writing this review, but it’s a simple dish to make and we wished it could have tasted like it should.
Simply fantastic! Emilio and his wonderful team fed us like family! Excellent vibe, super friendly and great Italian servings.
Special mentions- Olives, homemade chili oil, tartare sauce, steak, caprese salad, garlic prawns, steak, carbonara, veggie tomato sauce penne, all desserts!
Al fresco setting and authentically Italian vibe makes this place what it is. The pasta u had was decent, however not great. Pasta wasn't al dente but overall was decent, and very generous in portion size.
Service was great with very attentive staff and the owner is genuinely a charming person to talk to.
*Tip - when it's not too busy go for the dessert, you'll have 2 Italian men haul out their desserts with 2 large bowls in each arm promoting you to meet your sweet sweet demise.
Probably some of the best service I've had. They were warm and friendly but also generous - each table has a large amount of snacks/appetisers when seated and they serve large portions. When we chose dessert they bring them all out to see and even gave us a profiterole for free which we didn't order but was so much tastier than what we did order! We ordered the cheese sauce pastas which were slightly bland hence 4 stars. Next time will opt for tomato sauce ones. Very filling nonetheless! Very rustic charm to the place - also seen from the entrance.
