Amy was VERY detailed in cutting my husband hair. She made him looks great and also told us how to style it certain way to cover up areas that he doesn’t have too much hair. All that efforts she put in she only charge $15 for his regular hair cut?! We’re definitely coming back the next time my husband or I need a haircut.
What Mrs. Elizabeth wrote is not true. Me, my sister and my niece were there at the same time and there was no one but this lady at the time. I was sitting next to her and heard all the conversations. Amy kindly asked when was the last time she dyed her hair. Amy was never rude and this lady said she loved it after she got her hair done. She said that Amy was rude to her when she went to pay her money, even that her husband's husband was a doctor many times, and everyone there couldn't make sense of it. Amy is a wonderful person and everyone knows she does her best.

I’ve always had a fantastic experience with Amy’s hair studio.I had an appointment with Amy every three weeks for a little over four years . Not only is Amy very consistent and knowledgeable about hair, but in general, her shop also provides great pricing and fantastic customer service. We tell all of our family and friends about Amy and her beautiful plants that she has in her saloon.

Be prepared to wait as many customers were double booked at my scheduled appointment time. I also waited 25 min for another stylist to finish getting their own hair cut. The stylist then blamed me saying that i wasted her time because I could not recall when exactly I had my hair dyed last. This caused for some color correction into the service. Funny as I waited 25 min for my scheduled appointment and watched as she double booked people. It was embarrassing to be accused in front of others like this. I felt shamed for an honest mistake. When expressing how I felt they were unwilling to make it right and more argumentive with me. Saying there is no problem. Crazy as I WAS apaying customer just asking for a little respect!
WOW! Amy's Hair Art is an amazing gem in the neighborhood. Stylish, full service salon with very reasonable prices. Amy was extremely knowledgeable. She colored my hair and shaped up the existing style. It's never looked better. I will definitely be going back! I've been going to the same stylist in N Dallas for over 25 years but can no longer tolerate the the strong ammonia odor in traditional salon hair color. So, I researched a less toxic solution, including product reviews and purchased the Naturcolor brand at my natural health store. I googled hair salons in the area and Amy's Hair Art came up. All of her reviews were excellent. So, I sent her a text message asking her if I brought in my own hair color, would she color my hair. She immediately responded back with a 'yes'. So, I went in the next day to see her. Surprisingly she told me that she also has access to salon grade hair color that does not contain ammonia. She told me she doesn't stock it but if I could give her a couple of days notice, she could make sure she had it on hand before my appointment. I thought, jeez I wonder why no one has ever mentioned this before?!?!
I’ve been going to Amy for over a decade and won’t trust another person with my hair. My hair is very curly and it’s so hard to find someone that does it where it looks good. I’ve had her highlight, style, or just do wet cuts over the years, and I’ve loved it every time. The price is GREAT and so is everyone here. I highly recommend this place, Amy specifically.
