Best KPortal Reviews
If I could give this place a zero star I would don’t fall for the good reviews not only my nails look like a kid did them what a joke but they can’t give you a straight answer how much to expect for the pay I paid 58 dollars for this joke… very unsatisfied, would like a refund. Color is not what I asked for neither was the shape and what about the awful job it’s chunky huge and still Half of the nails are not properly fit smh… when I said they’re huge so fat/bulky the guy that was doing my nails said “all done” lol never coming back people you can do your own nails way better and save your money…
I'm sorry, but I wouldn't have paid $10 dollars for the service and nails I got. The gentleman that did my nails must have been new. He not only cut 1 but 3 of my cuticles, they hurt for days. It was not even 4 days and my first tip broke off and in the matter of 6 days 3 of my tips broke off. I have had my nails done many many times and never had this happen. I was not even going to waste my time going back up there to complain, I will take this as a learning lesson, not to ever go back. What a waste of money.
Amy is wonderful and her shop is spotless. Her and her employee give their best effort to every one of her customers. Many are long term, like me. I have been going to her almost 20 years. I even fly back and forth from Phoenix and always make an appointment with her while in town.
This was my first time here so I got the most expensive pedi they have available. The pedi was basic at best and there was lots of rough skin still on my foot. The man doing my toes was very rough trying to cut out a small ingrown toe nail and he hurt me multiple times I left with my toe feeling sore. Paint job wasn't great but oh well I paid the overpriced $50 and went on my way. Then throughout the evening my pain got worst and my toe was throbbing in pain and started to swell. It got so bad I couldn't sleep and I had to go to the ER. They told me my toe was infected and prescribed me an antibiotic. I called the salon to get a refund and Amy was rude and said she would not refund me which is the least they could do for giving me an infection. Now I will be filing a report with the health dept. I'm never coming back here as this has never happened to me at another salon before. Beware!!!
Amy is the best nail tech if you care about your nails, how they are taken care of, and how they look. She is attentive to your safety, your preferences, and your comfort.
Love this place! I just recently moved to Independence and was at a loss for a new nail salon. I contacted Amy's nails and they were able to get me in with an appointment right away. Dan is top-notch I have never had so many compliments and comments that mine was the most professional manicure they had seen. It was almost like he was painting a masterpiece, very precise and detailed. I have found my new home.
Dan does an AMAZING job! I go nowhere else.
