Don’t go to Amy if I can give 0 stars I will but she did my hair last week braids going up to ponytail. And give me a bald spot in the middle of my head and the back. & when I sent her pictures she had the nerve to say I came in like that when I know I didn’t I don’t play those type of games
I got knotless braids for the first time today and Amy did an amazing job. I love her work and she is a sweet person. I am definitely coming back????????????
Amy is a rip off. She using fake hair on your braids when some style call for human hair. Well never go there again
I've been here before and I had an awesome experience with the owner however I didn't get my hair done by the owner this time and I'm highly disappointed. My hair is currently cut really short and I explain that prior to making my appointment. When I got there explain to the girl that she would have to use gel on my hair while braiding it so it won't come through my braids, she refused to do it even after me kindly reminding her every second please use the gel because my hair was sticking up through the braids. When she was done my hair look like I never got it done and I was highly upset and disappointed.
All I can say is WOW. My daughter absolutely LOVES her box braids. This was her first time wearing braids and she was super excited to get them ???? Job well done Amy. We definitely will be back!
I love my hair this is my second time there and they followed what I wanted to the tee. They were fast and polite, and Definitely my new favorite braiding spot.
Let me start off by saying, I LOVE MY HAIR. I will be returning again. This was my first time at this shop. Compared to the other African shops. Amy's is by far the best. I wouldn't call her disrespectful. I'll say maybe she was just tired or ean lol. Idk. But she was cool after that tho. Cons: the lady that did my hair was disrespectful. (I forgot to ask her name) She let the door close while my girl and I we're coming in. Didn't apologize about it. (But no big deal). That's, that only complaint about her. Nothing serious. 2. The other later that came in after Amy left. Omg just kept coughing over my head and kept trynna clear her nose. Which was very annoying.
Pros: Amy the owner, is very sweet. I would have loved her to do my hair, but not a problem. 2. The lady who did my hair, was very fast. She got don't within 4 hrs. And my braids aren't tight. Well their tight enough to stay in. But their comfy. I can actually lay on them and go to sleep with no problem. She took her time and got it don't. Other than that one complaint about the door. She got the job done with no problem.
I highly recommand this shop to anybody, who's looking for a comfy, clean and friendly shop.

Just got my hair done today and I really like my braids. I got medium size box braids. My scalp is a bit sore, but I haven't had braids in years, so it does take some getting used to. Only one thing I would change is the hair. I don't really like the brand they use. Maybe next time I'll bring my own.
So that was good Friday, it is now Monday and I took them out????. Yeah the red bumps and itching scalp. Allergic apple cidar vinegar would have helped. Soooo, let me give everyone the real. Belching the whole time, ok I can deal, but yuck! Hair was cute, but tight! Kids crying, and being braided with a leg across her lap.???????? talking about people, in their language. Umm I thought I should share for others, and not fake it. ????
