The new building is very nice. There are vending machines and ample power outlets in the seating area. They do not check your bagagge; you will need to take it to the train. I felt like it was a safe place inside even though the station was in the downtown area.
This station has really gone downhill like most things in Rochester. I was traveling with my small dog, paid for him but I was still accosted & treated so rudely. They made an already stressful all that much more stressful. Not to mention they told me the furthest I could go was rhinecliff to get a “commuter train” there’s no commuter trains in rhinecliff. Thank goodness, the conductor on the next train was gracious and kind. Scum ppl at this station
Staff at the desk is extremely rude. Honestly, nothing new.
Nice train station. Clean and easy to navigate. Will certainly make use of this stop again.
