I only stop here to watch the train come into the station on my way home from work since the Eastbound usually arrives around 5:38am.
From what I can tell, there are plenty of people who use the train as it's usually busy. Large parking lot. Outdoor platform which is probably the only downside when the weather isn't that cooperative.
The place is quite clean. I liked it. One unfortunate thing is the train comes to the station in the very early morning, like 5am. So it was not easy to get an Uber ride, especially since I was in a group of 5 people.
Clean Amtrak station. Please visit 60minutes before if you want to check in your bag. Your bag will be weighed by one the Amtrak executive and you will be handed over a bag tag. An announcement will be done for your train arrival.
Sit-back in the waiting room and keep an eye on your surroundings. Happy Journey!
Oh my goodness!
First, This place was hard to find off the shore way. They need to put up Bigger road signs, especially when you’re picking somebody up five o’clock in the morning, it’s very dark, they need more lighting, and the station it’s in a secluded area.
Second, One of women bathroom stalls was broke. The second stall had coffee spilled in it, and a Young Lady told them, and it was still was not taken care of 1/2 hour later. They could’ve put a sign up, so people wouldn’t slip and fall in it which I all must did!!!
Third, they had NO vending machine and the place smelled disgusting!!!!!!
Easy, cost effective way to travel. Have taken the Amtrak to New York once and Chicago twice.
Nice place all in all, its cleaner than a lot of other stations are. People that work here are nice people as well.
Odd entrance to drop-off or parking location if driving from certain streets and direction. Google Maps gets you here ok.
Not the easiest place to find, but after 1-2, times it was fine. Exit to freeway is great.
