Had me and my son get haircuts here for awhile since my girl knew about her from years back. She would cut my hair alright never great. I’ve called and made appointments and still have to wait a hour for the appointment. Now to the bigger issue my son is autistic she’s been cutting his hair for years and he’s gotten worse each time we go crying and screaming. She wants us to hold him down and just go over his hair one time with one size clip. I asked can you try to at least even it up make it look better this time and she said no he moves. No patience or confidence in this lady. We went to another salon now the lady said she can tell he’s traumatized from his experiences with the other lady. That you have to show the kids especially autistic kids that it won’t hurt, never hold them down just be patient and get them use to it. She cut his hair alittle not much but told us she will cut his hair free until it is cut right and will work with him to get him use to haircuts the right way and show him it’s not scary. She had a beautiful personality working with my child and was very patient.
Beat the rush and schedule your appointment or call ahead to beat the rush. I’ve had my hair done by amelia’s sister in law and so has my sister. Super efficient and full of experience. Definitely someone you can trust your look to when it comes to you hair!
Reslly disappointed after reading a few good reviews of what belong to a small group of family and friends.
I went in asking for red in the top of my head it a tip dye job. I didnt have a problem with the fact it was hard to communicate with the lady doing the job because the owner took over and her English was much better.
1. I ask for tips or just the top of my head to be done.
-They put dye over my whole head.
2. I asked for a reddish brown color and for it be close to my natural hair color.
-I wish I could attach photos to show you my head is now orange.
3. I asked for my hair to be cut a certain way she did it another.
- I will never be back. I have an apt meeting Monday that is out of town, so there is no time nor chance to fix this. So since they messed up my entire head they can deal with this review.
4. I believe everyone despite color, gender, race or whatever should have an opportunity here in America. However, you should be able to properly communicate with your patrons. Your mistakes have caused me a lot of stress to where I am doing my best to be positive however I am beyond upset. And I will never come back, I have no faith you can fix this after 2.5 hrs of nothing but stress.

30 years ago When I was so poor I could only afford to let students cut my hair at their hair school.
This is worst than that!
i went in with an ombré in my hair asking for burgundy all the same color and she told me she would need to put toner in my hair to lighten the top just a little bit. She didn’t lighten my brown hair to match my blonde tips whatsoever she just went straight to dying it all red. When she was finished my roots came out orange the middle of my hair was STILL dark brown and the very bottom was bright red. She told me she wouldn’t be able to fix it til the following Monday. Whatever she used in my hair irritated my skin. I had the worst experience!
Great barber been coming here since I moved to Tulare :) very friendly and great attention to detail. I recommend coming here great services always :)
