We love an Amber star dinner!
We had one last night and as always, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The delivery even came quicker than expected.
We have ordered food from here many times before and we're never disappointed. There's a great choice of dishes that are all reasonably priced. The set menu is great value for money.
The food is always hot and fresh and tastes delicious.
My only complaints are that they don't accept card payments and I would love it if they would add Crispy Seaweed to the menu.
Have used amber star in the past,was always OK. Recent visit was again acceptable,its not our 1st choice locally,although it's food is decent,prices increasing everywhere.was very busy,which is a good sign,although other Chinese wasn't open.will use again .
Really good curried breast of chicken and crispy shredded chicken with chilli sauce (not too spicy which suited me fine), normally use a different takeaway but it was closed tonight.
Be aware the menu prices have all changed. (I didn't notice the signs????)
Decor is very tired, but an update won't make the food taste any different!
Will definitely return and recommend.
A nice curry, but the salt and pepper ribs were a bit dry and not a lot of meat
Absolutely LOVE the Amber star.
Food is delicious and we travel a decent distance to visit it every few weeks.
There are lots of new dishes we have been trying and so far, havnt found anything that we havnt liked
last time i went here it was brilliant, but this time… OMG there was a RAT… yes a dead Rat in my curry noodle soup!!! i will never be returning
I got the chicken curry here and when I got home to eat it . It had a bitter taste and the curry was bland. The place looked depressing and needs some decorations. Wouldn’t be back or recommend.
The food was top quality. Definitely one of the best take aways I've visited. The food was unmatched.
