Very rude manger! My best advice, especially if you’re a woman run to Big O or discount tires. I had a tiny screw in my tire that caused a slow leak, I was told by Mr. Yellow jacket my tire was ruined. I took the car to another nearby tire shop, where they checked the integrity of the tire. I was told all is well with the tire fixed it with a patch job and I was happily on my way.
Very professional and knowledgeable and did an excellent job on my work. I had an emergency radiator problem and he got me in right away and got the work done in the same day. Gave me a good price and showed me all the work and parts after. If you want an honest hard working shop to take care of your vehicles then come here. Definitely recommend
I work a few doors down and came here after being let down elsewhere in town. It was nice to be able to leave it while at work. They were able to handle my tire without much notice. Service was great and this is a nice locally owned shop. Highly recommend these great folks!
I was surprised these guys do all repairs and Johnny is a master mechanic. I went in for tires but they helped with other repairs in the car too. They are in the business of "turning wrenches" not killing you on mark-up parts. Their labor rates are reasonable, particularly when compared to the dealership. I'll be back!
Tried to get a repair done. The owner is a complete arrogant, mumbling jerk. I am a senior and always very polite. I don't deserve being treated like this. Stay away.
Don’t go here if you want to be talked to like a human owner not willing to work with you whatsoever. Tried to support a local business and not use big tire stores and heavily regretted that even bothering trying this shop.
I wasted an hour of my time on Alpha Tire. Mr. John Deleon is the owner who I personally consider to be an unprincipled business operator. I called him after a flat tire the previous day on Hwy. 80 not far from his shop off Mae Ann in Reno. He represented that he could fix the flat tire but when I arrived and he looked at the tire, he said it was not reparable and because I have an AWD Lexus RX350 I would have to replace all 4 tires.
The tires were purchased at Costco and are less than one year old so I declined his service "offer" and went to Costco where they said that the flat was caused by a screw from something I had probably run over and that it was otherwise fine and the other tires on the car were in excellent shape. And they charged me NOTHING!
Actually ZERO stars if it were a choice.
Carlos is awesome. He worked at a Subaru Dealership previously so he's very knowledgeable about Subarus. He saw me at 3 pm on a Thursday to fix my broken brake light; the whole thing took 25 minutes. The waiting room could be improved but the shop is no-fuss and gets the job done. I'll be booking my next couple of car appointments with them!
