My non-profit used this business for a commercial move in December 2022. Not only did All-Star Moving not complete the job, the owner (Antwan) promised a partial refund for the incomplete work and NEVER refunded our payment. He simply stopped responding to our calls/texts/emails and has now changed his number.
We were very clear about the size and weight of our items and they did not send enough employees. We really wanted to support a locally-owned business and worked patiently with them through a truck breakdown, a covid delay, and a re-schedule due to cold weather.
Although the employees were helpful and hardworking, the owner did not refund our money, despite telling us he would. We are owed $466 from a partial refund that never came. Buyer beware.
All Star Moving did a truly amazing job for us on moving day. It made our move a breeze and we were so, so grateful as it’s can be such a hectic time! It was truly amazing watching these guys maneuver furniture around tight spaces, we had some particular delicate and large antiques that made it without a scratch. They also moved everything for us, even little odds and ends that didn’t make it in moving boxes. Great value that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely call All Star Moving if we ever move again!
Beware!!!! All Star Movers agreed to move a piano for us. Antwan was friendly and helpful over the phone. He required a deposit as the move was 100 miles away. On the day of the move we drove the 2 hours to meet the crew for the move. Antwan informed is that they were not able to complete the move that day. We asked to reschedule later in the week. We had a firm deadline to get the piano out. He was not able to reschedule. He has not returned our deposit and doesn’t answer our calls or texts. At this point we are out $460!!!! Beware
Me and my sister chose All Star Moving LLC for the first time and we was really satisfied with their service. They communicate very well, they was on time, and they give make sure they get all your information and details more than once. They moved in a great pace. They made sure our furniture was pack correctly, and they also protected our items with pads. And made sure they were wrapped correctly safe. I recommend this moving service 100%
I hired All-Star Moving to move me from one house to another within the same city on May 10. Initially, they were easy to work with and responsive and the majority of the move went well. The crew was polite and the lead was experienced and helped the other two crew members with moving techniques. Unfortunately, the company never finished the job. I had let them know in my initial inquiry that I had an upright piano, and Antwan said that was fine and there's an additional charge of $120 for that. No problem. When the crew arrived at the house, the lead insisted that it was much bigger than an upright and they would have to come back for it because they didn't have the right equipment and number of people to move it. Not a huge deal, as I had some flexibility in the timing of moving out of the old house. They also weren't able to fit the garage items in the original truckload, so they would come back for that as well. I began to get frustrated because Antwan increased the price due to the size of the piano, but I agreed ($550, which included moving the garage items) and we continued on. They returned a couple days later (May 12) and moved the piano to the new house's garage, but weren't able to get it into the house because, again, they didn't feel like they had the right number of people. The lead let me know that I could set up a third time for them to come back to finish the move and it would be covered in the price I had already paid. But they never did. I called, emailed, and texted Antwan several times over the course of several weeks to get the piano moved. He was slow to respond, but eventually did after I wrote a review expressing my frustration on June 6. He stated that he's a man that believes in making things right for his customers and that they had experienced some hardships with a death in the family and COVID, which was why it had taken him awhile to respond and they needed time for quarantine. I was very sorry to hear of the hardships and understood the additional time needed. Antwan then told me that if I didn't take the review down, they couldn't do anything else for me because he thought they did a good job with the move. I took the review down and never heard from him again. I ended up hiring a different company to move the piano.
Antwan and Elizabeth are a fantastic team. Well co-ordinated, professional & great communicators. We used them to move our 900lb hot tub onto our covered deck. Antwan and his team got it done in under an hour with not a single scratch! Would definitely recommend them if you need an oversized/extremely heavy item moved! I am a VERY happy customer!
Moved apartments yesterday using All-Star and we were really impressed. They were prompt and communicative about their arrival times. Arrived with professional smiles on their faces and left a few hours later with the same, pleasant demeanor. Nothing was damaged, there were no hidden costs on the bill, everything was above board. Hopefully will not have to move again for quite some time but if I were to, I would absolutely call these guys again. They were worth every dime and we were glad to be able to tip them on their way out.
We used All-Star Moving for our August cross-state move. Because we could not finalize our moving date, we kinda booked All-Star Moving last minute. They were very friendly and helped us to coordinate the time. The process was very smooth; the movers were efficient (very; took them 2 hours to load and 1 hour to unload); professional and friendly. One thing really amazing about All-Star is that they have a very short delivery window - they rent trucks so they can deliver within a three day window. When we arrived at the new place, they were already there!
