????100% Helal, clean and savoury food happening here. Real and the best decent Turkish döner in neighbourhood. ????Lamb and Chicken in pita bread (sandwich). or proper wraps. ????QuutaPandas or haaf pandas even:) as well. ????????????????Vegan falafel or/and halumi wraps (ask for tahini:) Kind and very good staff, even i eat more than 60-70% of the meat and good green stuff and Vola! still there is more taste. forget all the other döners (turner) and sish kebaps :) heavenly we trust, go for it! Worst service I have ever experienced. The man running the cashier was incredibly rude to so many people, actively tried to rip people off by charging more money to have sides. We planned to eat in but after hearing him shouting and being so rude to nearly every customer we had to leave because how tense and horrible it was to be sat in there. Food was mediocre as well. Plenty of other options for better food in much better environments in the area.
Since 2018 I go to this restaurant. I have recommended to many people or even dragged my friends to the place.
The service is great. Staff is friendly and always greet me with a positive attitude. Atmosphere is lovely. Quite a cosy little place to have a little catch up with a friend and eat the delicious food.

I live near Brick Lane which has a plethora of kebab shops, none of which comes close to the quality of Ali’s.
Ordered the mixed meat kebab & chips and, while the picture doesn’t do it justice, suffice to say that this was polished off in full by two of us (mostly me)! The chicken donner meat was beautifully cooked - moist and flavoursome without too much fat. Very pleased to find red cabbage salad which so many other places no longer do.
4 stars not 5 since the chilli sauce, while very tasty, was completely lacking in heat and our first serving of chips was only luke warm but they replaced this with a hot (but smaller) serving when asked. Service was also a bit surly.
Small counter with a few (4) stools if you want to eat in. Would definitely repeat the experience but I'd bring chilli sauce/chilli flakes as the heat was really lacking.
A bit ridiculous honestly - the kebab wrap we each got was so tiny that I can wrap my fingers around one easily. And then it was mainly stuffed with fillings. Luckily we ordered it for delivery - and I had some things in the freezer to make up. I had 11 chicken nuggets with chips after finishing my “meal” here! Make sure you expect this to be a light entree if you’re going to order here - especially if you get a deal, be prepared to pay half off to get 1/4 of what you may normally for the same final price.
I’ve never a problem getting a decent meal out of any other kebab shop in London but here…
This guy is definitely a racist. I told him that I don’t want the purple cabbage and he asked me “how do you pronounce that” in a way that was clearly not a joke. When I told him I just know I don’t want it even though I don’t know the name, he got even nastier. That says a lot about the mentality of this place. If he thinks it’s essential to know specifically the name of every vegetable in the place to place an order, he is without any hope but a loser. Would never come back and strongly recommend anyone who got common sense to reject this racist place. Can’t believe this is happening in Dalston in 2023. Pathetic.
On November 2023, I walked in at 2:30 am , order doner wrapped with drink paid £15:00 happily. However, the food was awful, I was very disappointed and wasted money, I had to throw the whole donner wrap in the bin, no taste at all there's no freshness in the meat itself. More salad inside the wrap then the meat felt like late night leftover food . Very disappointed.
