Hello a few weeks ago I went to Alex's Cuban Cafe which I just happened to notice in a small strip mall all the way to the right corner. I was intrigued about them as good Cuban food, done right without breaking your wallet is hard to find. I was impressed to find the Cuban food actually tasted like real Cuban food, in a clean and cozy environment. I asked Alex's wife Missy or Misty? how long had they been there and she said 24 years! Wow they are doing it right, stop by you will be impressed with not only the quality of food but how much they give you without it being so expensive, and of course great service give them a try you won't be disappointed!
Food is excellent service is rude and insolent. She could care less.

Place was not even busy and not even a greeting extended. The world is too difficult of a place to have to pay for rude service.
No matter how good the food is. I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. We brought our friends over one time and we’re so excited to bring them there and when we left conversation in the car was what was up with her ?
This is a delicious, locally owned, authentic Cuban restaurant. Great choice for breakfast lunch or dinner. Simple straightforward menu. Friendly service and the food is prepared hot in front of you. They’ve been here nearly 25 years.
This Cuban Cafe is a gem! The restaurant is family run and operated. The food is always delicious making it easy to love and support this local business. P.S: They cater too! We've had them cater for a bunch of events: weddings, birthdays and office parties.
We had the steak sandwich and the chicken sandwich. The meat was grilled and seasoned perfectly. They also included lettuce, tomatoes, sautéed/ grilled onions and potato sticks. They were big and plentiful to the point I couldn't eat the second half of my steak sandwich and took my other half home. For dessert I ordered the guava flan and coffee. After giving my daughter a taste of my dessert it was so good she ordered one for herself. The menu was traditional Cuban cuisine and the taste was spot on delish! Service was prompt and friendly and we paid about $15 each which consisted of the sandwich, drink, dessert and coffee. The restaurant was clean and dining area was set up nicely. While the restaurant is on a main thoroughfare it sits at the end of a small plaza and you might miss it while driving by if you're not looking for it. The only disappointment was an item on the menu that wasn't available at the time we ordered, however the quality and taste of the food we ordered and ate was yummy. If you want traditional REALLY GOOD and authentic Cuban cuisine this is the place to go to!
Can't beat the value of this food. It's simple, yes, but they give you hearty portions for a ridiculously reasonable price and the owners are normal people that are nice but not the annoying too nice. It's my go to place to order takeout during lunch
So, I attended a party last night where they had provided all this DELICIOUS food from Alex’s. Everything was phenomenal!! Empanadas, black beans & rice, grilled chicken , shredded pork, bread and plantains were so good and flavorful!! Highly recommend!!????
I just moved to Florida so I was looking for a place for a good Cuban sandwich and it was the worse I’ve ever had. It was made out of cold cuts instead of the real pernil. The lady behind counter wasn’t welcoming at all, a smile goes a long way. Will not be returning.
